Don’t look now, but Obama again sails into uncharted waters by naming Jefferey Immelt, CEO of General Electric, head of his jobs committee. Imagine, if this was announced by George W, liberals would have screamed like fat kids at diet camp. But the national response is light applause and yawns, proving once again—it’s not what is done, but who does it—that matters to leftists.

Fascinatingly, such collusion between government and big business recalls Nazi fascist economics. Such blurred lines between public and private sectors is the subject of this column.

I. Obama’s Agreement with General Electric & Jeff Immelt

Obama is not Adolph Hitler. Yet, it’s still weirdly fascinating how he repeatedly recycles disproved ideas of leftist regimes. For example, fascists accommodated industry in a way communists could not imagine. Now Obama reuses their playbook.

Of the Immelt appointment, the White House said,

A board to get Americans back to work and strengthen our economy will be chaired by Jeff Immelt, CEO and Chairman of General Electric…The Council will focus on finding new ways to promote growth by investing in American business

Why is this an “is” question at this point? What about GM, Chrysler, banking, healthcare, TSA, GE, the unions, his inauguration at the temple of Zeus, his apotheosis into the One. Other than morphing into the second coming of Hitler, what is needed to make people see the Nazification of America under Barry?

Immelt will probably come back with a report concluding that what we need to do is build and invent stuff.

Well, duh. The democrat party has been the fascist party of America ever since the reconstruction era. The democrat party has always been dedicated to building a ruling nobility that controls everything and a eugenics system that eliminates those they consider undesirable whether those undesirables are black folks or Eastern Europeans and Southern Europeans the democrat elites have always considered to be in the same category as black folks. Look it up, they were pushing eugenics as the means to rid the country of such people long before the same means was adopted by the National Socialists in Germany.

I see that I’m not the only one who saw the similarities between Obama’s Denver DNC coronation ceremony and the 1934 Nuremberg festivities celebrated in Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph des Willens.

The similarities of the economic policies of Obamunism, National Socialism, and Italian Fascism are obvious to any rational observer. Of course, there are significant non-economic policy differences. Obama doesn’t blame all the problems of the world on the Treaty of Versailles and a Jewish conspiracy. He blames George Bush instead. Neither does Obama lay claim to Libya and Ethiopia as Italy did in the 1930s. Rather, his Cap’n Trade policy would create African and other 3rd world claims on American wealth and income.
