The campaign to be the next mayor of Chicago continues to develop largely along racial lines. On Wednesday former Democratic Sen. Carol Moseley Braun said that former President Clinton betrayed minority communities by campaigning for former chief of staff to President Obama Rahm Emanuel.
For him to come on the day following Dr. Martin Luther Kings birthday to insert himself in the middle of a mayoral race, Braun said in a statement, is a betrayal of the people who were most loyal to him. Its a mistake.
President Bill Clinton does not live or vote in Chicago, said Braun. Hes an outsider parachuting in to support another outsider. Emanuel was an advisor to Clinton during his presidency.

Racist lies from a racist pig.
Carol Mostly Brown plays the race card with character assassination in mind.
Braun always has been a little slow.
Since he was the first black president - is that really possible?
Aw come on, Carol. What’s new ? He’s betrayed minorities before when he picked an old white woman over a black/brown coffee boy.
Using the enemy of my enemy is my friend principle of commutativity, B.J. Clinton is now my bestest friend evah! :-)
I love it when the pervasive fault lines within the Democrat coalition show themselves.
And to think that Bill Clinton made her Ambassador to New Zealand. A job for which she was totally unqualified to hold. I hope the DemoRATS in this contest eat each other alive! Buy plenty of popcorn, soda and beer and find a comfortable chair for this one. It will be hilarious.
So, what’s new?
It is great to hear someone, especially a Dem, attack Clinton. But the racial pride thing is sickening and infuriating. Saying Clinton, or anyone else, should support her just because she is black creates more and more division. A day after MLK day we see once again that the “not by the color of their skin but the content of their character” ideal means nothing to blacks on the far left.
Sounds to me like the flip side of a Theodore Bilbo speech. Shame on us for letting such absurd racism pass unchallenged.
See?
Evil does devour itself.
Well, she’s DEFINITELY not going to make it on the content of her character...

CMB sounds like she is prejudiced against the first black President of the United States!
Nothing new sadly. Been hearing this for decades. “Civil rights” leaders and politicians telling black voters they need to vote for black candidates for purposes of solidarity etc. How vile. And totally unacceptable for whites to say the same things. They keep division thriving then blame the right for racism, poverty, lack of opportunity, etc! Absurd.
Amazing! Took nearly two decades for her
to figure out she was taken for a sucker.
Nothing like one Chicago red criticizing another Chicago red.
Hey Carol, send Obie a fish and Emanuel a new tutu.
