No,... Nixon recorded himself just after the Watergate bugging saying that it would be possible to raise a million dollars to bribe the burglars into silence. We're very fortunate that the judge presiding over the sentencing of the burglars treated them harshly, probably knowing that they were involved in a conspiracy of unknown origin and extent.

About 65 people were convicted of felonies, many of them lawyers. Nixon surrounded himself with amoral people and got much less than he deserved.

Eighteen minutes of one tape was evidently so outrageous that it was erased multiple times to hide the content from the American people. Nixon had to have known of this obstruction of justice and it was widely believed that Nixon himself did the erasing.

If I remember correctly, HilLIARy was the one on the prosecution team who wanted to demand that Nixon NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A LAWYER

I didn’t say Nixon wasn’t guilty. I just pointed out that he was bluffed into resigning.
