Authorities are searching for a second suspect they describe as a “person of interest” in the shooting incident in Tucson, Arizona that critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed six others. The man is described as an adult Caucasian male, between 40 and 50 years-old, with dark hair, His picture is shown in a security camera image at left.
Police are not providing specific details of the possible role this man might have had in the shooting spree, although a law enforcement source close to the investigation told this author that the man might have had prior knowledge of the plans of the primary suspect, Jared Lee LOUGHNER.
The as-yet unidentified male was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue jacket.

There was a report last night that, while the bomb squad was working on the "'coffee can' object", there was a "loud noise" that disturbed a prayer vigil that was being held nearby. Speculation (with which I tend to agree) was that the noise was an (explosive) action by the bomb squad (aka "blow it in place") to disable the object.

That Sheriff is Hot to prove a conspiracy, but the Shooter is so obviously deranged I don’t see him working with anybody.

I want to know what liberal organizations the killer was a member of... if the killer had been a conservative, it would top the list.

Something seemed off to me in the reporting of this yesterday- compared with other awful moments we’ve seen play accross our screens. I haven’t put my finger on it yet- but I kept having this sense of something being very different.
I switched to CNN and even some MSNBC when I couldn’t deal with Shep anymore..and “it” was everywhere.
The few times I could get onto FR I kept seeing these bizarre headlines- Jane Fonda condemning the right, Krugman blaming the right, WaPo blaming the right, the sheriff of Pima County blaming the right.
All vitriol, all the time. FROM THE LEFT.

Her MO is to prime the pump with misinformation which the liberal MSM runs with to establish the “meme”, let the facts come out through research, and then begin speaking again. Only she doesn’t correct the error of her first misinformation, so that when other liberals here it they know A, B and D and E, but not C (which is the truth about the perp).

Well, I wasn't looking for it, but I was pretty certain that they'd still be chattering away about FOX, given that FOX had called AmRen antisemitic, which anyone other than them would say it currently is; but when I was scanning a few pages, there was a "JOKE-POST" --- the poster stated something like the ONLY connection of LOUGHNER to AmRen would be the name,

... AND then posted a pic of Jared Lee Loughner, followed by one of Jared Taylor.
There were STRANGE headlines, it wouldn’t have been weird to see others such as, “Roseanne Barr says it’s obviously due to Sarah Palin” or “The Kardashian Sisters blame the Tea Party”..... I believe YOU are right, that something *different* occurred yesterday...... but maybe decent journalists left the field long ago, and all that’s left are weird hacks.

As an aside to all that- Rep Shattuck (I THINK) from AZ was interviewed later in the evening by Megyn and Bill (who were excellent, BTW) and thanked them for keeping the focus on the event, the Congresswoman, the judge and other innocents instead of getting into the political blame game he was seeing everywhere.
With the exception of Shep and Geraldo, by and large FOX kept it apolitical and didn’t try to shape our views. Dr Keith Adlow (sp?) discussed the possible pathologies, and really came down hard against blaming this on any political persuasion.
They are weird crack pots, and the likes of David Duke and other “HEROES” of so-called ‘White Supremeacy’ should be checked out -— the MSM is an Instrument of EVIL to be impugning Sarah Palin and putting her entire family in danger.
