Authorities are searching for a second suspect they describe as a person of interest in the shooting incident in Tucson, Arizona that critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed six others. The man is described as an adult Caucasian male, between 40 and 50 years-old, with dark hair, His picture is shown in a security camera image at left.
Police are not providing specific details of the possible role this man might have had in the shooting spree, although a law enforcement source close to the investigation told this author that the man might have had prior knowledge of the plans of the primary suspect, Jared Lee LOUGHNER.
The as-yet unidentified male was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue jacket.

btt
Apparently he lives (with parents) a few blocks from the shopping center where this took place.
According to the sheriff (who I would trust on nothing- but this is going to be documented) the evidence indicates Giffords was definitely the target.
This kid is cleasrly so troubled and ill that no matter what he thought his politics were- this isn’t a classic political assassination (attempt)- from the right or even the left.
Gretawire had an interesting speculation though- she thinks it’s anti-semiticism; Congresswoman Giffords is jewish.
That is truly scummy. Every time I think the left cannot possibly sink further into the slime, they prove me wrong.
Keys on a tether, maybe? I thought that might be part of a belt that was too long. I knew a guy that wore his like that all the time. I wonder why they think this guy has something to do with this? Do they have anything concrete? Were the two talking to each other or what? It’ll be interesting to see if anyone can identify him. They have to be looking at the top of his head.
The authorities very likely have another photo showing the two of them together at some point in the morning hours.
I wonder why they think this guy has something to do with this? Do they have anything concrete?
Sorry, I do not have an answer for either question.
Were the two talking to each other or what?
Maybe, but unknown to me. I am searching for info just as are you.
Sorry, I cannot be of more help. I did notice that a name popped up on the forum and then when I search the name (last night) everything I found was behind locked doors, where a payment had to be made to go further in looking at this name. The name was posted (I copied) from two other FReepers. The name is in my file of posts from last night around three AM to three-thirty AM time slot.
btw..I cannot confirm the name is tied to the person in the picture.
A cursory search of google does make it appear that in the past couple few years that American Renaissance has asked all Jews to leave..... SO, I am now presuming that in your & my eyes, we would both conclude that 'AmRen' is BOTH antisemitic and racist.
I’m always impressed with the amount of information Freepers are able to come up with. Thanks for trying. I’m sure we’ll have some more answer later - that will probably lead to more questions.
That picture is clearly one of the Tea Party member on the grassy knoll holding the mind control device in his pocket that controls the gunman.
The left uses the same fallacious reasoning as the gunman in his published rants. Something like:
The Tea Party opposes big government
The gunman shot a congressman
Therefore the Tea Party is the gunman
It would be interesting to see side-by-side photos of the Unidentified Suspected Accomplice and the head of American Renaissance named Jared Taylor.
For what it's worth, "vitriol" in the mouth of a Leftwingtard always means "anything a Republican might say".
If you say "I love babies", Leftwingtards will call that "vitriol".
Now, for the other term ~ it's "Jewish". Something like 8 people got shot, 2 of them now reported as dead, 1 is Jewish and so is the Congresswoman. I usually think it's quite normal to examine any apparent assassination attempt against Jewish person to see if there is a "Jewish angle" to the event.
Apparently "Jared" may also be Jewish ~ or a whole bunch of people think he is ~ but so far that hasn't been relevant to the discussion ~ until you get to the fact the Congresswoman "may be Jewish". There's a lot of consternation on that part because her mother isn't Jewish! (NOTE: That actually doesn't matter when it comes to questions of anti-semitic attacks on people with Jewish forebears because anti-semites don't really care).
What we do have is that a lady who believed herself to be Jewish and who is a member of Congress was SHOT by a Leftwing nutcase! She voted for someone other than Nancy Pelosi for Minority Leader.
There are Democrats who don't want any Jews in Congress to stray from the reservation ~ and earlier last year the most famous "reservation jumper", now Majority Leader Eric Cantor, was subjected to a couple of violent acts including a bullet fired into his campaign office.
I think there's some meat in the anti-semitic angle and I do hope they can find the folks who used this kid to shoot that member of Congress.
Accd. to gretawire, that description of American Renaissance is from a DHS memo. I would not be surprised if our government had bad info. I am not familiar with American Renaissance, so I don't know.
Being a terrorist worked out pretty well for Ayers, didn’t it?
correction.... name at approximately 4:19 of my posting history.
I'm afraid to turn on the television, I'm seriously considering dumping satellite, I don't think I want these idiot commentators entering my home anymore.
Great find...now we have two names. Thank You.
The scariest part is that liberals have a paradigm wherein bad things cannot ever be perpetrated by liberals. In the sick minds of liberals, evil is only committed by conservatives. So when an event like the one in Tucson comes down the pike, the first thought and the only thought from liberals is that this is an act of an evil conservative. All evidence to the contrary (as exists with the Tucson nut job) will be totally ignored. It simply doesn’t fit their world-view.
And the truly dangerous thing is that liberals will eventually create scenarios wherein to be conservative in and of itself will be a crime. They will not hesitate to imprison those who simply disagree with them.
Just think of how Free Republic would be described by the same group.
