What a disgrace.
Paul Krugman immediately attacked Republicans today after the assassination attempt by Arizona shooter Jared Loughner.
Outrageous!
If The New York Times was a respectable news organization Krugman would be reprimanded or fired.
Krugman blamed the GOP at his page on The New York Times:
Assassination Attempt In Arizona
¶A Democratic Congresswoman has been shot in the head; another dozen were also shot.
¶We dont have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was. Shes been the target of violence before. And for those wondering why a Blue Dog Democrat, the kind Republicans might be able to work with, might be a target, the answer is that shes a Democrat who survived what was otherwise a GOP sweep in Arizona, precisely because the Republicans nominated a Tea Party activist. (Her father says that the whole Tea Party was her enemy.) And yes, she was on Sarah Palins infamous crosshairs list.
¶Just yesterday, Ezra Klein remarked that opposition to health reform was getting scary. Actually, its been scary for quite a while, in a way that already reminded many of us of the climate that preceded the Oklahoma City bombing.
¶You know that Republicans will yell about the evils of partisanship whenever anyone tries to make a connection between the rhetoric of Beck, Limbaugh, etc. and the violence I fear were going to see in the months and years ahead. But violent acts are what happen when you create a climate of hate. And its long past time for the GOPs leaders to take a stand against the hate-mongers.
Of course, Krugman wrote this before we found out that the shooter Jared Loughner is a left-winger who considers the Communist Manifesto one of his favorite books.
Its time for Krugman to go!
Just what I expect from a leftist POS!
Thankfully, most folks don’t read the NYSlimes or know, or care for that matter, who Krugman is.
When citizens are denied due process, and when their elected officials act against their interests, citizens do things that are 'scary' in the eyes of their oppressors. .
But Klein and Krugman know as well as anyone that 60% of the populace opposed ObamaCare; yet they defend it's passage.
I think the House should by all means send a bill to the Senate ASAP, and let's see what those cowards do with it in light of today's events.

Yet another blow to Krugman’s credibility as a serious observer of, well, anything.
I’m guessing that wherever he is right now, he is seriously regretting that he gave in to temptation and hit the ‘publish’ button on his hasty blog post. When people jump to such conclusions so early, when so few facts are in, what they’ve written becomes strictly a commentary on themselves. And what we see for nth time is that Krugman is a predictable — maybe even Pavlovian — leftist hack.
The damage has been done. People will remember the accusation that he was a right-wing-nut, and the truth will be downplayed in the MSM.
Paul Krugman is a mentally ill Marxist. If you understand that is what he is, then ever irrational thing he writes begins to make sense (though it is marxist, hate-American nonsense).
He is worse that the Journolist little leftist shits who pose as journalists (I’ll let them be bloggers but they wouldn’t have lasted a minute in Vietnam).
The New York Times has long been the home to anti-American journalists including Anthony (I believe Hanoi) Lewis, so Krugman is just carrying on their leftist traditions.
Remember, Pinch Sulzberger, the head of the NYT, wanted the communists to win in Vietnam. Says a lot about why the old “Gray Lady” should be renamed the “Red Lady”.
BoyBlue’s diary :: ::
Fast forward to this election season. A weirdo asshole named Jesse Kelly who advocated ELIMINATING Social Security and was a tea bagger favorite got the GOP nom to run against her. I am gay and had been married and my spouse left me January 15, 2010. I shot myself in the mouth in a serious suicide attempt, because of that. Barely surviving, I spent two months in the hospital and still have some paralysis. I did receive a severance from my employer, as i had been laid off in December, 2009. That may have been part of the reason my spouse left me.
Anyway, after months of physical and mental rehab, I got back into the political scene and started working for Gabby once again. I raised over $100,000 for her and maxed her out myself out of my severance, even though i still don’t have work and could not qualify for state aid because of my severance.
She wins her re-election and told me she was still a supporter of Speaker Pelosi at her victory party. We talked about how Nancy Pelosi was a successful woman and accomplished oh so much in just four years as Speaker.
Today, just a little while ago, I saw on Andrea Mitchell Reports (out of the one eye in can still see out of) that Giffords voted AGAINST Nancy Pelosi as our Minority Leader. Rhetorical question: I fought back from my condition and jumped in with both feet to help Gabrielle Giffords for THIS shit???
Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is dead to me now. I won’t lift a finger, make one phone call, nor will i EVER vote for her in the future. And why did she do this? Giffords never told me she was conservative Democrat. And her voting record is okay. Damn.
When Juan Williams said he was afraid when he saw Muslims getting ready to board his flight, and said he was sad that that made him afraid, he was fired.
Now Krugman says—WRONGLY—that fellow Americans who do not share his politics did this shooting, I wonder what the nice folks at the New York Times will do to Krugman?
Bwahahaha! High fives, Paul, baby!
Krugman’s commie is showing again. I wonder if he would like to murder the Tea Party people? Sounds like it.
All this and he is as well a social commentator -wonders never cease.
A self anointed renaissance metrosexual -a leftist ideological pile of garbage by any other name...
Jared Loughner is a left-winger who considers the Communist Manifesto one of his favorite books.
