Ending 2010 with a bang, the unlikable 111th Congress (13% approval ratings) told its citizens that deal making and idea trumpeting carries more weight than the voters, who spoke in the November election, in favor of Republican control. Republicans, being accused by Democrats of being the party of No are absolutely correct in saying No to bad ideas, and their ascendancy to power come January 1 is proof.
By our vote, we have rejected a federal government that disregards the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution, and is dedicated to creating a nation that is served by a universal, powerful entity, instead of by We the People in a free market economy. An all too powerful federal government, making-up the rules of domestic trade, is in direct contradiction to individual, ownership rights contained in the U.S. Constitution. The document, in fact, is meant to limit the federal government, not encourage encroachment upon its citizens.
A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference. Thomas Jefferson
The lame duck Congress forges on anyway. This is a body of officials so arrogant they have managed to enact a slew of controversial laws with one foot out- the- door! Still, they claim victory on the backs of the voters who have rejected them with smiles on their faces ignorant (sometimes willfully) to the detrimental consequences such laws will have on our Republic (if we do not stop them).

Unfortunately, a lot of the tea party candidates who campaigned against earmarks immediately went in and added a billion dollars in earmarks to their first budget. That makes me madder than the liberals who add earmarks. At least they’re honest about stealing tax dollars.
Which Tea Party candidates were involved with earmarks already? As far as I can tell, the newly elected Tea Party folks haven’t even been sworn in yet. That takes place Jan 5th.
Calamitous Blunders of the 111th Congress
How about not challenging Obama’s constitutional eligibility when they had the chance on January 8, 2009 during the Counting of Electoral Votes in Congress?
Yeah, about $3+ Trillion worth “calamitous blunders”.....=.=
Agreed. No earmarks!
Thier biggest blunder, for which the Democratic party shall be forever damned, is their total failure to properly vet Barack Obama’s “natural born citizen” status.

Anti earmark Tea Party caucus takes 1 billion in earmarks.
Thanks for the info. I missed that. We are going to have trouble here I fear with these guys.
