While appearing on Fox News Sunday, Juan Williams slammed Sarah Palin's intelligence.
"There's nobody out there, except for Sarah Palin, who can absolutely dominate the stage, and she can't stand on the intellectual stage with Obama," Williams said.
Since becoming John McCain's Vice-Presidential running mate, the left has repeatedly used this line of attack. In fact, a Google search on the term "Sarah Palin is stupid" returns over 67 million results.
Apparently, the prospect of Sarah Palin running for President in 2012 has liberals doing everything they can to denigrate the former Alaska Governor before the primary even begins.
Has Sarah Palin made mistakes? Sure. She is, after all, a human being - contrary to what liberals would have us believe.
But compare her mis-steps to the man Newsweek once called "God of All Things".
Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin listed several gaffes Obama made during the 2008 election. Among those gaffes:
* Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.” The actual death toll: 12.
*Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”

Liberals have been repeating the lie that Zero is intelligent and articulate since he burst on the scene several years ago, in the hopes that their main strategy of repeating a lie loudly enough and often enough will make it true in the minds of the people.

Obama, in my opinion, is the most incompetent POTUS we have ever had. Sarah has been out in front speaking on every issue. She was right on the death panels and insurance costs going up from the get go.
Obama is in so far over his head it’s funny to watch.
At this point, I would welcome Sarah moving into the WH asap to stop the bleeding!

Juan Williams is part of a stable of “Token” liberals that Fox has to back up their “Fair and Balanced” trademark.
Forget that even without these liberals, Fox is far from being a bastion of conservative journalism.

Sarah Plain has to find a better speaking style, for me at least. When I see her on TV with a friendly host such as Sean Hannity, she just babbles on. Chirp chirp chirping along in a sing-songy voice like a bird brain. Plus giving lazy comfortable answers to the friendly host
She has the smarts but her speaking style has her coming off like a lightweight. This is also what the libs are thinking when they ridicule her
I disagree. He isn't all that intelligent, and as for articulate, he is just a good teleprompter reader. Listen to him when he's off prompter. Ever wonder why his college transcripts are harder to find than a virgin in Hollywood? Sure he was President of the Harvard Law Review - but try finding one thing he's written. No, he isn't all that intelligent - he just shows well (or used to).
It’s not that Sarah can’t stand on an intellectual stage with Obama, it’s that she chooses not to. One component of her appeal is her anti-intellectual, just plain folksy, common-sensible image that contrasts with President Obama’s aloof, arrogant pseudo-intellectualism.
I admit, it can be frustrating at times to see Sarah do her “Oh, pretty much all of ‘em” shtick when asked a serious question about her favorite Founding Father. Because conservatives care very much about our heritage and fundamental beliefs and the ability to articulate them.
But as William F. Buckley, Jr. once mused, he would rather be governed by the first 535 names in the Boston phone book than by the faculty of Harvard University.
She easily could be just as “intellectual” as Obama, but why would she want to change her image?
Ask Tom Brokaw that question. On one of the Sunday shows recorded on The Blaze, he was will to keep the training wheels on the little bastards administration a while longer.
