Reaction to DADT Vote: "The Few, the Proud, the Sexually Twisted"

We are now stuck with sexual deviants serving openly in the U.S. military because of turncoat Republican senators ... Had the cloture vote failed, we would still have sane moral and sexual standards governing military personnel policy. But sadly those days are gone, perhaps forever.

...

The armies of other nations have allowed gays to serve openly in the military. The reason they could afford to do this is simple: they could allow homosexuals to serve in their military because we didn’t allow them to serve in ours.

They knew they could count on the strength, might, power, and cohesion of the U.S. military to intervene whenever and wherever necessary to pull their fannies out of the fire and squash the forces of tyranny wherever they raised their ugly heads around the world.

Those days are now gone. We will no longer be able to bail out these other emasculated armies because ours will now be feminized and neutered beyond repair, and there is no one left to bail us out. We have been permanently weakened as a military and as a nation by these misguided and treasonous Republican senators, and the world is now a more dangerous place for us all.

“I know many ex-navy personnel and have talked to them about this issue and some have admitted to being part of a man over board mission. This was done against gay peeps who could not control their deviant desires while on board. The mission involved stealth, surprise, restraint, a splash and in the morning someone missing role call. This all happened in the late 70’s & early 80’s”

You mean to tell me they tied the gay guy up and threw him overboard where he became food for the sharks!? Aw come on, that’s going too far. I’d be pretty annoyed if a gay was making passes at me, but the furthest I would go would be to punch him in the face if he wouldn’t quit.

“I also do believe that the PC belief of being untouchable because of their perversion will result in a lot of training accidents.”

I remember Michael Savage talking about this once: “Imagine if you had two guys in the shower together and one of them happens to be gay. Now without getting too graphic, suppose that a certain part of his body does something that he can’t control. And suppose that the other guy is some redneck from Arkansas who isn’t inclined to be PC and tolerant. He’s liable to get upset and do something to that gay man that’s not very pretty.”

If a person wants out, because they don’t like sleeping with or showering with a homosexual they get a dishonorable discharge.

The Mohammedans in the military may not like that.

they will be outed and shunned by the real troops and their lives may even be at stake

Maybe. Maybe not. Perhaps there will be Diversity Patrol Thought Enforcers assigned to every unit, just like Stalin assigned loyal Party spies to each Soviet army unit .... or at least that's what he did until tens of millions of soldiers in his enfeebled armies were easily slaughtered by the Germans in the early days of Operation Barbarossa. Maybe the US will have to relearn that lesson, ala "Those who fail to learn from history....". Hope not!

Except that society now says we CAN NOT “weed out” homosexuals! It is against the law. Illegal.

And my 17 year old kids should not have to be constantly on the guard against their fellow servicemen who are on the prowl for young flesh! They have those IED’s to worry about, they shouldn’t have to worry about others.

None of us are gonna be alright, because American’s finest are NOT going to join the military anymore. It will be the wonderful boys of San Fran who will now be putting on the military skirts.

I understand that in WWII, known homosexuals were drummed out of the military and often beaten up and taunted by their fellow soldiers.

Straight men in the military cannot have a relationship with a woman in the same unit. If they do, they NJP'd or administrative discharge. If a guy in the military has an affair with the wife of another guy, he can spend time for adultery.

The repeal of DADT does not affect the UCMJ. In fact, a a recruit can be outted in boot camp when a SSgt asks whether they are queer or not. With DADT, the SSgt cannot ask them. Now, when they answer, they cannot lie. That is a UCMJ offense.

Meanwhile infantry units know how to deal with queers in their ranks. Marines can take care of insurgents, IEDs and officers. They can sure as hell deal with a few perverts.

I should have phrased things better. I certainly hope the good patriotic folks currently in the military finish out their hitches safe and sound, and get out. But, today the American armed services ceased to exist as far as I’m concerned, and I will no longer have any respect for anyone who enlists or re-ups in this newly formed Homosexual Military. This is a massive game-changer.

There are alot of other reasons not to reup than the repeal of DADT. My son just got back from Afghan with an infantry unit. The guys know who the queers are and they know how to deal with them. I suspect those in your son’s unit know who they are and how to deal with them too. If anyone tries to hit on anybody they will be dealt with severely.

Freedom means you can F who ever you want to as long that it is an adult thing.

So, if a Marine is sleeping with the wife of someone else in his unit, hey, more power to him! Nobody's business but his own! Every serviceman should now have the right to F whoever he wants! And F his entire unit and F his country in the process! After all, it's a F'in free world. "Free F'in Love" forever!

Mygosh, people, let's all get down on our knees once again and thank those who did the most to give us the Great & Glorious Sexual Revolution, that truly freed mankind, womankind and nondeterminablekind from the primitive, outdated mores of those horrid LeaveItToBeaver Fifties!

</sarcasm>

...Stop praying to the alter of God

Huh? The "alter of God"?? What do you mean ...... Oh, I get it now. The "alter of God" would be that other guy ... the one down below. No, I'm afraid you're mistaken .... that other guy is the one that you are praying to, not the one that the Freepers who you deride are praying to. Just wanted to clarify that minor point.

who among us would send our young 18 yrs away to a place where their safety and peace of mind in the barracks is not assured?

Aw, that wasn’t aimed at you so much, sorry. The troops will put up with this stuff too. There are a few senators I’d like to thrash, that’s all. Best to you.

Try rephrasing it again padner. The military did not cease to exist. Politicians are trying to harm it. The respect people have for those in uniform has not changed. No other instituion garners more respect than our military. While the brass may play a PC tune, those down the chain of command, who will have to implement this thing WILL maintain the honor of our military services.

of course we know that gays have been in the military...but now they'll be able to openly frolick among the heteros while the heteros won't be able to frolick in the women's barracks or else.....

this is about discretion and standards....

First, recruits are generally so frickin scared to breathe while in boot camp, they would not even think of hitting on another recruit unless they were certified insane. Second, the barracks in a line unit is run by the enlisted men. They will insure that nobody hits on anybody. If anyone does, they will get taken care of and the higher ups will never hear about it. Seriously, this change will not be good for queers. They can’t be AD’d for being gay, but they will have big targets placed on their backs.

Straight Marines would never frolic anywhere. Straight Marines get kicked out for hitting on female Marines. Queers will get kicked out for hitting on male Marines. Repeal does not affect the UCMJ. It just lets queers stay in if they have a boyfriend outside the military.
