Right now America wants a leader that can be trusted, and out of the field that's paraded by so far, she is the only one I feel comfortable about trusting.
Her genuine, no-nonsense approach to issues is refreshing and so far I have seen no fear from her.
So far the loudest criticism has been from the harpies - women who hate other women for whatever reason.
These female journalist never say who they ARE for, just that they are against Sarah Palin. A couple have
mentioned Mitt Romney, but I suspect that if he were to get the nomination, they would shift their sights over to him and unlease the same salt and vinegar.
Mitt Romney is the Republican version of John Kerry. Rich, and a lot less important than he thinks he is, with no substantial acheivements and the radical ideology of a RINO.
Palin is the closest thing we have seen to Ronald Reagan but even the females who like Reagon don't like her. I'm thinking it's the ones who
didn't make the cheerleading squad in high school...but that's just me.

Dunno ‘bout that. Bill Clinton was the best at faking sincerity.

Yep, The Best Poster for her campaign. I like the nudge it gives to the beltways boys mantra ‘ the Reagan Era is Over ‘.

C’mon, who did he fool? “I feel your pain” became a catch phrase epitomizing insincerity.

What really is upsetting is how the media slams her for being stupid and inexperienced when she had more legislative experience being mayor of a small town than Obama ever had as a sidewalk agitator and an eighteen month senator.

Follow the links, particularly to Dr. Melissa Clouthier's complete review.
While the small minded and intellectually shallow continue to wail away at Sarah Palin, others are delving into finding out more about she who is undoubtedly having a huge impact on the political scene.
Dr. Melissa Clouthier has read and now reviewed Ms. Palin's latest tome and is suggesting that even the most ardent supporter who think they know the woman would do well to get their hands on it:
Most Americans who read America By Heart will find little to object to therein. The Smarty Pants Set, on the other hand, will despise the book. Sarah Palin takes aim at their cherished premises and counters them one by one.
In addition, Sarah Palin manages to write a highly philosophical book without sounding stridently ideological. Indeed, she says what most Americans believe but don't say because they have been brow beaten into politically correct silence.
And yes, the themes and ideas espoused in America By Heart feel distinctly Reaganesque. However, unlike Barack Obama who studied tape of Reagan to get the gist of the lingo and mannerisms to appeal to broad audiences so as to deceive them into believing he had centrist ideas, Sarah Palin believes the ideas and sounds and acts...well, she sounds and acts like Sarah Palin. That is to say, Sarah Palin is a wholly unique political character and unlike anyone else in the political world.
Sarah Palin's book articulates a message that stands in stark contrast to the philosophy driving current governance. The prevailing big-government, anti-American, military-diminishing, non-stop-regulating government isn't going over well with Americans these days.
There's much more, including a challenge aimed at those who do nothing more than dismiss and ridicule Sarah Palin.
Good stuff worth passing on.

Sarah Palin brings an inimitable quality of conservationism that has been sorely missing from the Washington scene for many years. That the left goes bonkers whenever her very name is mentioned speaks volumes. That some on the right are equally dismissive of Palin based on often petty reasons or simply on an elitist-based conviction that Palin isn't from the cookie-cutter school of soggy 'conservatives' that the Old Guard (Karl Rove, et al.) favor. You know, the 'Republicans' that either run as Democrat-Lite with a few crumbs of 'conservative' positions thrown around for the
Hoi polloi and lose or, if they win, govern just like Democrats.
I've detected a muted note of misogyny in some of the 'conservative' opposition to Sarah Palin. I can't read minds so I'm not going to speculate about all the possible motivations of those claiming to be political conservatives while consistently bashing Sarah Palin on these forums. However, it does induce a certain level of skepticism about the goal of these folks, especially considering the relative absence of any viable Republican challengers for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is on the ground, fighting. She makes public stands for conservative principles and in direct opposition to Obama and the left, who shower her with invective and ridicule 24/7. Sarah Palin (and her family) take it while some of allegedly 'serious' wannabes for the 2012 GOP nomination seem to waiting to be ordained by the GOP elite. Then, we have the conservatives who whine about Sarah Palin's TV show, her hairdo, her early resignation of the Alaska governorship and whatever they think may resonate with others. Most of it is either petty or just plain irrelevant. Apparently, airly dismissing Sarah Palin is the way some alleged 'conservatives' demonstrate how astute (they think) they are.
They are mistaken and will be left behind if Palin chooses to run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. If that happens, despite the tsunami of opposition against her, the people will decide, not the Republican elites or the implacable 'conservatives' that now disparage Sarah Palin. I believe Sarah Palin, a fighter her whole life, will win the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, go on to win the election and be a great president, helping restore America's greatness.

Don't forget tonight! Sarah's Alaska - she goes hunting with her Dad. Being a bush pilot type...I love all the flying stuff...there was a brief scene of her in the back seat of a Super Cub or Aviat Husky in the premier last week...:oP

Some comic once said "When you have learned how to fake sincerity you have it made." Unfortunately Obama took him seriously. Thought he could fake Reagan(a bizarre idea, but...) and learned the hard way.

I don't really think anyone should try to live up to anyone. Each of us is an individual, and we know our capabilities and limitations...or at least we should.
No one can be Sarah, but Sarah. We can admire her, trust her, and support her. We can share ideas with her and follow her trough her career. But no one expects all women to go elk hunting, or halibut processing, or any of those things.
Right now we need a leader, and frankly I don't see a male in the bullpen that's ready for the fast ball. They're either RINO's, or beholding to RINO's, or weirdos.
Given what the country needs right now, Sarah is the only choice that makes sense. However, she's going to meet obstacles that make a moose seem like a chihuahua. Everyone will be gunning (politially) for her, from the media, to the democrats, to the harpies who are just consumed with envy.
But the impressive part is...it doesn't seem to be frightening her one bit. She's charging forward like a mountain lion and taking no prisoners.
So far, she has my vote - if she runs.
