I find HG who is not even a mod to be quite selfish, and I will not bow to his demands. Since you donate here, why do you support a person who harasses people everyday? All he does is bring down the site, and all you have to do is look at his in forum posts to see this. Let the mods define the rules, not him. What I am doing is within them.

I've been here long enough to believe that humblegunner IS actually holding bloggers to the rules that the mods expect to be obeyed. If a blog pimp is truly egregious you find a rather large number of FReepers joining him (myself included) and making it clear that the community does not appreciate being used as part of a business plan or as one step in a marketing ruse. We even have graphics for that kind of cretin.
If you have something to bring to the FR community then BRING IT TO THE COMMUNITY by posting it and discussing it here. You can also, incidentally, provide a link to your blog. Then people can voluntarily visit your blog for further edification and entertainment. That works out for everyone. Do you see the distinction? I hope so. It's not likely to go away any time soon...
