Forgot all about that one. It's chilling to people that grew up in the 50's and 60's:

Lots of stuff by The Roches on their We Three Kings album. Some of their modern songs are a little goofy, but they really have some amazing a cappella versions of classic Christmas songs. [Beware of iTunes though. It looks like they have the wrong song for Adeste Fideles, which may be the best song on the album. :-( ]
Hey, ya can’t forget “Snoopy & the Red Baron” ;)
- “Ave Maria”, by the tenor of your choice.
- And how would it be complete w/o “White Christmas” by Der Bingle...

Wexford Carol - The Cambridge Singers, John Rutter cond.

Holy Cow...where did you find that one?
It’s not too often music videos give me ‘blurry screen syndrome’, but that one SURE did. This is most certainly getting shared with friends.
Government Santa by Meadowman:

The entire Charlie Brown Christmas album. My family plays it when we put up the tree. It’s wonderful.
I put about ten different versions of Sleigh Ride on a disk and played it on a loop for a Christmas party. FOr several hours, no one noticed that it was the same song over and over.
I now have a new definition of creepy.
So that would be a resounding "NO!" to the notion of a Metallica Christmas LP next year, then...? ;)
Apart from the Sweet Young Thing gazing soulfully at the camera during the car commercial -- and apparently in every single one of their YouTube vids -- I can't get into it...
The Christmas Carol (as told by Vincent Price) (1949)

(His voice is a sort of music!)
One of our favourites is the Gaither’s Christmas A Time for Joy.
Thanks for the reminder. It’s going in the CD now.
Jubilant Sykes - “Mary Did You Know?
Jon Anderson - “3 Ships” album
Susan Boyle - “O Holy Night”
It could keep the Willie Nelson & Beach Boys CDs company. :0
They’d made a great trio...
For some instrumental in the mix, I like Chris Rice’s Living Room Sessions.
