Palin won’t be interested in running for vice-president.

Look, I am not anti-Palin. I just don’t see what you see in her as a presidential candidate. I love and politically agree with my brother but would not recommend him as a candidate either.

her short stint as AK governor, will give a lot of folks pause.

A slight understatement.

So you’re not anti-Palin?

This post of yours doesn’t quite fit with that:

“Governor Palin Calls Out the TSA for Extreme Political Correctness
Saturday, November 20, 2010 10:12:09 AM · 41 of 93
Bamanot to Gondring

I’m really getting tired of her. She reminds me of Obama in his first months in office—always seeking media attention.”

Also you’ve griped about her ‘folksiness’, yet you think independents are going to go for another cowboy-talkin’ governor from Texas?

You’ve elsewhere pined for Chris Christie to run. I guess his position on illegal immigration doesn’t bother you?

I am not anti-Palin, and she is over-exposed. She's got good conservative credentials, but would make a TERRIBLE presidential candidate.

And you're pissed for no apparent reason.

” I like Sarah a lot, but after the debacle of the current inexperienced president, I suspect plenty of people will want someone with much more experience in elected office. “

Exactly right . No more training wheel Presidents .

C'mon. i'll try and drop it. (If you were on the Religion forum, you could have a caucus of like-minded and freeze interlopers like me out.)

There are more important things to deal with than something that may or may not be a possibility a year from now. Btw, Christie who may have that charismatic presidential gravitas elixir has not yet taken a position on cap-and-trade or Obamacare. He has also come down on the wrong side on the NYC mosque issue. So, you'll note in my history that I have expressed reservations about him with (???? or RINO?) until he makes some clarifying statements. (I'm sure he's holding his breath waiting for my endorsement. )

A candidate worth considering besides Palin is Haley Barbour -- a terrific spokesman for the conservative movement. (pssst. It was Haley, a previous RNC Chairman, who was the media antidote to the unappealing, heavy-handed Newt in '94)

But I'll probably drop my input on Sarah in '12 because the hype is getting way too much play on FR. And who invited me to be the skunk at the picnic? My insight is very limited on the topic anyway. What is disconcerting is that if you consider the GOP field outside Sarah, there are not a lot of heavyweight contenders. In '06 the Dems knew they had Hillary and Obama as hole cards. In '12, the GOP is going to have a rocky road.

at this point for many, it is about who we are against. Cuz our favorites may not make it past IOWA.

So I will likely support whomever is running in 2nd place in NHampshire, behind Mittster. Unless Palin is serious about there. AMES straw poll is in 8 months, talk about that and not about who Gov. Perry’s running mate is going to be!! LOL.

No you look. I don't care if you are supporting Palin or not, and I haven't even picked my candidate yet. What I do care about is getting the facts right.

You were wrong about the Palin endorsement record. A full evaluation of that record shows that she was successful.

And BTW, you were also wrong about Angle. Palin never endorsed her in the primary. That's a liberal media lie and you repeated it.

It's best to use care when acquiring knowledge and forming an opinion.

That is all.

Rick Perry says he isn’t running. I could see a Palin/Perry ticket however.

Love Palin but I think Christie can carry more eastern states.

Christie is pro-abortion. He won't get my vote. Ever.

Your analysis of this election is woefully inadequate. Those candidates were not “chosen” by Sarah Palin. They chose to run and she chose to endorse them over liberal and/or moderate opponents. Exactly who would you have backed? The winners in those races?

Well to each his own but you are in the minority on this no other politician today has a bigger following than Palin and has more people that loves the way she speaks.
