However, a question arises, namely, do we have enough non-communist Congressmen to populate it firstly, and then secondly, do something about it?

Good point. If we keep it to having a seasoned Chair heading the committees and all other members be Freshman Congressman or Senators, then hopefully there are enough of them that aren't progressives/socialists/communists and they could get the job done.
