On the turban graphic on the video at the link, what is that crap coming out of the hat supposed to be - sweat - popcorn - what?
I imagine that the turban hits too close to home for obama, although there are already photos from obama’s earlier days with him in turbans.
Can’t say I recall any turbans or head-gear for President Bush. Although he sure wore some funny outfits (along with the other world leaders) when he would go to those G-8 meetings (or whatever) and have the photo-op while wearing the traditional garb of the country.
Hmm, while Bush did not hesitate to wear a robe or colorful garment, I wonder if Obama will? He might look a bit too comfortable in a long flowing robe, etc.
I’m surprised we’re not seeing 0bama walking on the backs of American CEOs willingly lying prostrate before him, lest his foot touch actual dirt.
I can’t decide which photo of Barry in India is more appalling.
Barry as a transvestite in the orange head wrap.
Or Barry as a mental patient in a locked ward :

I don’t know how turbans there are tied.
I feel like I am watching some phantasmagorical, horror reality show, in slow motion.
A$$-(........) each one of us, just as we clothe ourselves in patriotism.....when July 4th parades are cancelled and Veterans’ Day parades aren’t publicized.
My dear God, how he and this Administration must truly despise us...and appear to relish letting the entire world in on this poisonous dance of economic death.
Ole, 0bama. Ole.
I try to step back from the partisanship, and look objectively, and yet it is SOOOOO obvious.
All I can think is that people are so blinded by their partisanship that they cannot or WILL NOT see.
wonder if they will run into any cobras?
“Too close to home is right”. That is why he is sensitive about the garb. What a disgrace this guy has been and continues to be. God help us.
If he should any public respect to a single religion I might agree with it, if wearing the turban somehow meant honoring the temple god or whatever.
I was in Taiwan and visited an ancient temple with all sorts of wood carvings. From a thousand years old to the present time - guys were still carving.
Some of the statues had places where you could put money as an offering to that god or spirit or whatever. At the exit they had a place for a general donation. I made it clear with my translator, and the priest that was with us, that I wanted to give some money for the maintainence of the temple and the new carvings. But - it was NOT to be put into a spirit offering cubby hole. And that “are you SURE that is just for a donation, and not an offering”.
They assured me, three times, that it was not. Somehow I doubt that obama is as concerned about the spiritual aspects of his visit.
True.
