Can someone explain to me what the hell is wrong with Lindsay Graham?

Seriously, all kidding aside, what is wrong with this guy? He behaves like he’s never had to work with democrats before, or seen what Obama’s doing to this country.

I know he’s a “moderate” or whatever the heck he thinks he is, but where does this stuff come from?

Absolutely NOT, brain-dead!!! All we have to do is look around us to see what ‘working-with-the-idiot’ will get us.

NO MORE COMPROMISE; NO MORE GRAY AREAS; NO MORE PORK BARREL; NO EXCEPTIONS.

Either tow the line, Graham, or get ready to get gone!

Either 0bama has some dirt on Lindsey, or he has promised him a cabinet post.

Unbelieveable. Lindsey Graham is a poster child for what is wrong with the GOP. Is he braindead? Does he not understand what is coming? All GOP representatives and senators are on notice: work with Obama and the democrat criminals at your own peril!

No, Senator Graham isn't trying to dilute the forthcoming Republican gains.

As part of the old guard” he is trying to find some way to keep the personal power that he feels should be his due. The only way he can do this is to water down through any means possible the positions of the incoming freshmen Representative and Senators.

They only way he can do this is to become the media darling inside the beltway, The traditional measurement of power inside the beltway is how many media parties you are invited to. Remember McCain was the media darling until he became the Republican candidate then he was raw meat in front of the media wolves. The non-old guard Republicans understand that their road to continued power is to keep their campaign promises. Remember the establishment's collective horror that Bush 43 was actually attempting to keep his campaign promises? The new Congress will be divided between those who keep their words and those who don't. The 2012 elections will cull those who don't keep their word. After all, what does a politician have to sell us except his ability to keep his word? That is something Graham has forgotten if he ever learned it in the first place.

Can’t you people leave this RINO crap alone for just one day? We have a election to focus on.

Get out and vote, but please give us a break for at least one day.

BTW, I’ll match my documented, four decade long conservative record against anyone who posts here, so I am not supporting Grahame, but enough is enough.

Can one of you genius purists remind us who was the chair of his campaign and one of the biggest rah rah supporters of Graham in 2008?

Graham makes me nervous, but it’s hard to tell at this point if this stated desire to “cooperate” will be any more genuine than when Obama basically says the same thing later today. It may just be for boilerplate political consumption.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Boehner says the something similar at some point, simply because an overt promise to torpedo the President may bother some folks. What is going to matter are the substantive positions they take when we start talking about specific legislation.

After all, we generally heard the same “let’s work together” line from the GOP after the 2008 election, but in general, they held ranks pretty tightly in opposing Obama’s legislative agenda. Of course, if the people we just elected decided to go “all squishy”, it’ll be time for heads on pikes in 2012.
