The crowd was not just the Stewart rally. My son went. There were a total of three events on the Mall today. The other two events bookended the Stewart rally. One was a music festival - don’t remember what the other one was.
The other one could have been th Marine Corps marathon. The Marathon was supposed to have 30 thousand runners and there is no telling how many support people or spectators.
