Just heard a report on Fox:
Bill Clinton, at the direction of the White House, convinced Kendrick Meek to drop out of the Senate race in Florida. Meek, the African American Democrat candidate, later changed his mind and stayed in. The story is confirmed by both Meek and Charlie Crist.
This is not the first time that Democrats have tried to muscle out their Black candidate.

I thought we were supposed to start being about the content of character, not the color of skin. Operation Black Storm? Never heard of it. Give me conservatives and I don’t care what color they are.

Interesting. Curiously enough, the publisher of the local “Black” magazine in Albuquerque (3% of the population) endorsed the Republican, because as he said “John Barela worked with our community before he was running for office and doesn’t take our vote for granted.” This coming from a guy who said he is a big Obama fan.

Most Republicans I know are going to withhold support of any black folks running for office until they have a record. Even then, look at Colin Powell. It's tough to believe that all these black Republicans are from that small percentage that didn't support Barry Soetoro. They well could be, but it'll take a track record of some sort that shows race isn't their major concern before people are going to be willing to support them.
It's a sad state of affairs, but it wasn't white folks who voted 95+ percent for the white guy in the last election and in favor of someone who opposes a huge number of things the "black community" has for decades insisted were critical to them.
Regards

I have no idea about the pub party but me personally, I’ve donated several times to Col. West, and to Charlotte Bergman, and Star Parker, and to BAMPAC, and I think to Ryan Frazier as well....in years past, I’ve donated to Allen Keyes and Deb Honeycutt...

No black conservatives running in any of the races I can vote for. Lots of black liberals but they seem to prefer the democrat plantation.

BS, Kevin. I've supported several black candidates.
How about an article on the amount of donations black candidates in BOTH parties have received from individuals?

Wow, this hit piece might cost us the black vote. We had that all locked up until now.
All joking aside, I don’t vote based on race.

If the intention is to look to get support then I do not see how making insinuations of racism against the GOP is the right approach.
Is there any evidence of lack of support from the GOP that could be given or just the accusation?
Much of the article sounds very good. I do support a conservative reform of the Republican party and I also love to see many of the new black, hispanic, asian, (etc...) candidates as well as the women candidates who speak like solid conservatives. The democrat party hold of these groups of people based upon divisive politics needs to be broken and a growing and strong united conservative movement is the way.
I agree though with the posts above that question this confusing thread. What are the accusations about?

THAT'S RIGHT, by GOD!
And nobody should support anyone JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE BLACK.
Democrats and liberals not only don't support black conservatives, they also call them "Uncle Toms" and "traitors".
But, to be fair, let's make a list of White conservatives that the GOP
doesn't support*, and a list of Black conservatives that the GOP
doesn't support* and we'll see which list is longer - much longer.
*Someone needs to define "Support". If they we we don't blindly support them JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE BLACK, that's right. COLOR - as we can see in many cases - is NO indicator that the person can, or will do the job well.
It's time this race card shit should stop.
