I thought his resignation letter was well written. I have never done research on the level many of these people have, but I do have degrees in Chemistry and Nuclear Medicine, so I understand the scientific method and I have participated in research.
He may be a very old man now, but that doesn’t make his points in his resignation letter less valid. (I am not sure if that was the point you were making, or if you were just pointing out the fact that he had no profile)
I agree totally with his resignation letter. The problem with him is the fact he has no CV and no published works. He will be dismissed as a kook.
