Hey Don, how about running for Mayor of NY city first; then maybe run for Governor of NY. Prove you can handle either of those jobs first.

One thing that the election of Barack Hussein Obama has taught us once and for all is "it's the ideology, stupid." A president surrounds himself with the functionaries he needs to pull the strings. As much as a disaster as the Obama presidency has been from out perspective, if you're a socialist things are looking pretty good. They may not be moving fast enough for your taste but Obama has put into place in the bureaucracy much of the machinery he will need to drag America to socialism long after he has left office. From that perspective - the leftist perspective - he's done a good job.
