Just what we need, another arrogant, egotistical, narcissist in the WH.
I have ZERO respect for monied clowns like Trump using and making a mockery of the system. He is actually a mentally-warped man using his wealth for self-promotion and stoking his insecurities.
Even his looks are unsettling and he creeps me out in a big way.
He adds nothing of real substance to our American political system, only moronic distraction, clownishness and show biz antics.

“Amen. Run for mayor and give Bloomberg a run for all of his money.”
That would be good. He will have a lot of appeal locally, I would think. Nationally he would probably be about where Giuliani was.
However, if Romney gets the GOP nomination through some fluke similar to ‘08, I would vote for Trump in a heartbeat as a third party candidate. Either DT or BO would win with about 36% of the vote. With his racist base, it would probably be BO, alas.
And I don't give a flying fig if that means a not-vote for Trump means a vote for Ubama.
He’d probably make a good mayor - and as you say - he’d have the same problems with the Republican base that Guiliani had.
Its not like ethics will be a stumbling block for him.

I don’t see how this would make him any different from at least 97% of elected federal officials. I am quite serious. I think most of Congress would not be able to meet the psych eval requirements for a middling police department.
I am not disagreeing with your statement, I just don’t see how this would make Trump one whit worse than the majority of politicians who presently abuse and oppress the people.
At LEAST lose the combover 1st-!!!
“Its not like ethics will be a stumbling block for him.”
Lol, with Obama, the ethics bar has not been lowered so much as it has been tossed over the side and into the abyss.
Hell just run mccain again... I could not stand mr comb-over any more than I can stand obama.

Washington could use some good “You’re Fired!”’s.
But I don’t see Trump as a conservative.
He run’s casinos.
He’s operated most of his life leveraged to the hilt.
Now if Wynn gets in too, that will be worth watching !
Weeding out self-promoting jerks like Trump who love to wield power through money would be a good start in vetting presidential election wannabees.
The Donald's gambling interests, history of bankruptcies and bad debts, extravagant life-style, extramarital affairs, messy divorces, hucksterism and lust for self-promoting show biz appears to put him in the same category you rail against....and he appears to be just the type of political aspirer we DO have the power to weed out.
Unless we are fascinated by him, that is......

Not to mention the first daughter.
The showboating is a particular weak point, as it is distracting and indicates rather shallow obsessions. I would much prefer a cold blooded, calculating, low profile executive in the Cardinal Richelieu tradition. Cheney is a good example of the type. Putin is is an interesting hybrid of the two styles of showboat and Machiavellian.
Given that our populace demands entertainment in exchange for votes, hybrids may be the best option until there is a cultural change. Economic blight may prove to be a sobering effect in the not too distant future, but we are not there yet.
The only Trump I would vote for is Ivanka. LOL!
I can’t trust anyone how hasn’t had a drink or a smoke./s
Dems and Reps are both wrong on guns
Its often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.

APPROVES assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With todays Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

One-time 14.25% tax on wealth, to erase national debt Trump wants to soak the rich, including himself. He proposed a 14.25% tax yesterday on the net worth of wealthy Americans.
He said the one-time tax package would:
* Raise $5.7 trillion to erase the nations debt and save $200 billion in annual interest payments
* Use the savings to save Social Security and slash taxes for the middle class
* Increase his personal tax bill by at least $725 million.
