On the 9th of May 2008, during a campaign speech in the state of Oregon, Barack Obama said the following:
“I’ve now been to fifty-seven states, I think one left to go…one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to, because my staff couldn’t justify it.”
Fifty-seven states plus Alaska and Hawaii?
Usually, we could pass off a slip-up like this as the result of campaigning-fatigue. After all, it was a very energetic campaign. However, Obama paused, thought carefully about what he was going to say, said it and then failed to correct the mistake. Was it a mistake? Let’s look at this a little closer.
Now while the speech itself may be old news, it’s certainly worth considering when looking at the new Department of Education form for parents have to fill out in the U.S.
On September 23rd, this woman went to Open Foundation for her son’s first year of kindergarten to see how he was going. When she arrived she was handed a booklet that she was asked to sign and agree that she would participate in the new education program. On the front of the booklet was the flag you see at the top of this page. With 59 stars.
This 59 star flag looks a lot like the third flag down on this site, created in 2008 (incidentally at the same time as Obama’s campaign began).
Now it gets to the interesting part. As quoted in the description of the “Manifest Destiny3 Flag” on the site:
“A star has been added at the end of each row on the 50 star flag of the United States of America. These 9 additional stars represent the following territories and/or commonwealths: Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Virgin Islands, Israel, North Marianas, Nicaragua, Afghanistan, Iraq.”
Excuse me…
Israel? Afghanistan? Iraq?
In addition to the other aforementioned places, Obama did indeed tour Israel, Afghanistan and Iraq. It was in July during his 2008 campaign.
Without implying that Obama considers these three countries to literally be a collective part of the United States, it’s certainly strange that he should make a speech wherein he specifically cites a tour of fifty-seven states (and two more prospectively) amid a flag with the same amount of stars being unveiled and promoted. The clincher here is the Department of Education program handbook that mirrors this flag.
US administrations are infamous for keeping geopolitical designs under wraps. I guess time will tell whether or not this is just one hell of a bizarre coincidence or something more concerning.

On the NBC news Sept. 27 - they spent 25 of the 30 minute program on Education and 0bama’s plan.
Remember Kitty on Beck’s show and how the crucifix was removed from the classrooms? That was it - Germany was under Hitler’s rule.
I have such an ominous feeling about this development - the new push for education “reform” and this curriculum showing up with 59 stars and the crescent and moon at the top of the flag pole.
