If Tea Party candidates win, they take power away from the old RINO Establishment. Rove cannot have that. The Tea Party Rebellion must be put down.

Rove and the Ruling Class RINOs are now our enemies.

I’m frankly worried that Karl may yet turn out to be right. There have been some stories bandied about concerning Christine O’Donnell that might indeed be enough to take her down in the general election.

Remember who we’re dealing with here. Embarrassing dirt on his enemies appearing at the eleventh hour has greased Obama’s meteoric political career so far. Of course, such dirt is useless if people do not want to hear about it. Something that has also marked his meteoric political career...

It’s bigger than that.

The real reason is Rove is horrified that the BIG GOP MACHINE he and the Bushies MOLDED and still CONTROL is crumbling.
The MACHINE that Rove said would last 20 Years.

The Grassroots are about to overrun it in the fall.

It’s about more than simply not needing “The Architect.”
The fact is, the Ruling Class RINOs have been telling Republicans for decades that authentic conservatives can’t win elections. That is how these RINOs maintain their power within a naturally conservative party.

If Republicans are allowed to see that conservatives can win in the RINO strongholds, then their powerbase is gone.

That makes a lot of sense, IMO. I believe the irrelevance of the party machine is also emphasized by O’Donnell’s ability to win with no experience and her so-called “checkered past” against the whole Republican establishment (except a few like Palin and Demint) supporting her opponent... a long-term. supposedly well-respected politician.

Isn’t it about time we began talking about O’Donnells opponent. A man that went to Kenya, and came back a self professed “bearded Marxist”? Who is the one with skeletons in the closet?

"a true grass-roots movement needs no architect", so Rove is out of a job....

A staffer once said of Mr Rove that you had to "undermine the other side's support by casting them as liars, cheaters, stealers, immoral—all of that."

The Atlantic , wrote Karl Rove in a Corner..a mastery of campaigning

It may be all grass roots, BY THE PEOPLE, as the new get elected theory, but everyone is not going to be always being playing nice on the other side, voting booths, recounts, unknowns yesterday - here today candidates, infiltrators; etc..and so we cannot become too complacent or completely trusting. That's when make and break mistakes are made.

One bad call does not determine one's career. Probably the one everyone will remember for a time; however--as with Dr. Krauthammer. King makers one day, then "who needs ya"!

Christine O’Donnell was the GOP nominee for senator in 2008. Where was Karl then?

After the primary results were in, if Karl couldn’t think of anything good to say about O’Donnell, he should have confined himself to a sage diagnosis of how Castle’s RINOism caused him to lose and why 2010 is a special year in which the people are rebelling against a president who yearns to cut their country down to size, yada yada. It was really simple, and he blew it! If you are a Republican, you don’t attack the Republican nominee!

He’s placed himself in a dilemma. If she wins, he will be seen as irrelevant. If she loses, he will be blamed for contributing to her loss.

Karl Rove flipped out because he risks becoming irrelevant. He is, after all, the architect.

There's a new building inspector in town - Rove's house is being condemned.

It was an eye-opener for me. Republican or Democrat, they all want to remain insiders pulling the strings.

Rove not liking her may help with indees because he is well known as a Washington insider, the very thing many are trying to run away from as hard and fast as they can.
