Castle was pro abortion, anti-gun rights, pro bailout,
pro gay marriage, pro Cap and trade, pro card check and
took his agenda from Soros’s Center for American Progress.

Any conservative that votes for that has no brains.

Sorry, we held our nose and voted for McCain and where
did it get us?

The fault is squarely lad at the feet of the GOP.
If they did not like Christine they should have ran
some one else.

We took a sure thing and we put it in a position we will probably lose.
__________________________________________________________

Castle doesn’t represent the “we” here. Government is too big for a “tie” to be a win. We need small government conservatives in office or our country will be destroyed. Big government Republicans are part of the problem, even if they occassionally make a vote that conservatives approve of, because our deficits are so huge and the actions of the Federal government so arbitrary that our survival is at stake. The hour is that late. Just because someone is labled “Republican” doesn’t mean they will vote to reduce the size of spending . . . and if we don’t do that then riots and currency destruction is our future. Castle was at best a tie. It’s better to have a chance to win than a guaranteed loss. You aren’t seeing and feeling something that most people are right now. This isn’t party politics. The nation itself is at stake. The Republican left has been a problem, not just the Democratic party. I am not sure we make it through 2 more years of Obama safely even if we have a conservative Congress. If we have McCain’s and Castle’s populating Congress we just destroy the spirit of the resistance to big government and make it harder to persuade the “middle” that there is a difference that matters between the parties and the future for the country.

Better to have a real Democrat than a RINO.

They (including Rove) are now hurting the cause. It is destructive to put down our candidates after they have won. He needs to help get to the finish line. _They are helping make the campaign adds for the opposition.

Castle, “the certain winner” had years to challenge his pal Biden for the very same seat, but instead he sat comfortably in the House, as the lone US Representative from Delaware.

I assumed that Castle at 70 was simply the place holder for the return of Plugs Biden.

Well said, JMS. Liberal republicans and marxist democrats give us Conservatives a “lose-lose” agenda in perpetuity. We have come to the brink with only remnants of our once vibrant Constitutional Republic remaining. If we don’t resist this threat to our Liberty we will most certainly go over the edge; if we do resist (as many are doing now) we may still lose, but we will do so with the knowledge that we did not meekly stand by like helpless slaves to a democratic mob.

“Christine O’Donnell was good enough for the Delaware GOP to run against Biden in ‘08, so all the hand-wringing and smears that have come her way during this primary ring false and inflammatory.”

Excellent point. This whole thing is very strange. I caught a bit of an interview last night on CNN with the GOP/Tea Party dude that won in NY and it was brutal. Anderson Cooper had some of his emails and was accusing him of promoting beastiality and racism(some dumb guy stuff he and his pals were emailing back and forth). I’d like to know how the media can get their hands on the emails of previously unknown private citizens and yet they have never managed to get anything of importance on Obama. We all know why, but still it’s stunning to watch. I would not be one bit surprised if Obama and his enablers in the CIA/NSA/FBI are not hacking into the emails of every republican running for congress and tapping their phones. Obama has no moral or ethical principles and neither do the people who support him. Obama makes Nixon’s transgressions look insignificant.

Wow, what a great post.

I like Charles, but he stepped on the crank, with old fashioned, steel tipped, golf shoes.

The old line guys, having never really worked for a living, outside of politics or courtrooms, have no real concept of the anger behind the TEA Party idea.

TEA Party folks are just plain Americans that have had enough of the lies and bullshit and refuse to sit down and shut up.

We know the truth and all of the drive bye spinning won't change facts, so we will change the congress critters, until we get ones that keep their word.

Wallace was just on Fox ‘n Friends.

I hope Charles Krauthammer is in the panel! LOL.

Yes, you have to win to do anything. On the other hand, some wins aren’t worth having. Hasd castle won, we’d have had a “Republican” would be the “bipartisan” vote the Democrats need for political cover for anything they want to do.

And if one RINO crosses that line, the Maine sisters, Graham, and company might very well follow.

What a lot of the doomsayers are missing is that this is a “sea change” election coming up. The likely voters are very, very angry at Democrats and want to punish them. This is a referendum on Obama, Pelosi, and Reid, and they aren’t going to do well.

To that extent, for this one election, it matters far less that Republican challengers be “someone who can win” than that they run against the Democrats’ record. (Normally, I’m not a fan of “anybody but xxx”, but that’s the mood out there right now.) Why not go for the brass ring and purge out the “squishes” and liberals? Get some young, conservative blood in there, and preferably into DeMint’s camp?
