His direct way of using facts to dowse emotion is amazing.
The woman was speechless until she fell into the trap of mentioning “tone” and then he finished her off.
THIS is what we need in our next president, our governors, our representatives. Not celebrity, not emotion, not feeling, not good looks, not any of the CRAP that people feed off of emotionally. We need someone who will say what he means and be unafraid to talk honestly and with facts and logic at the ready.
I see no one like this running for president so far.
...you know, there’s something about this guy that reminds me of an old time MLB home plate umpire...he’s big, and he ain’t gonna be pushed around after he makes a call...I really like that about him.
I love this guy. I watched the video yesterday. His description of the 1B shortfall (a one time Fed infusion...oh by the way, done during Corzine’s campaign)was NEVER going to be repeated. He tried to negotiate with the teacher’s union but they couldn’t give 1% towards their health benefits this year? That move alone would have saved 700 billion...but oh, no, they wouldn’t budge. Well guess what? This is what happens when you can’t share the pain of these economic times.
He lays out the facts like no one I’ve seen. The public needs more of this guy and those like him.
I hope Corbett is listening.
Wow. He sure knows how to handle leftists, their propaganda and their rhetorical ploys.
(He held his own in the face of another brilliant, union
“ed-yoo-cay-toor”.)

My prayer is long life and good health for Gov. Christie and for any other political leader who has the same courage he has.
Thanks for posting this! It really brightened my day to see a leader stand up and fight back with absolute truth. I am proud of you Gov Christie!

"I'm a taxpayer!" Yeah, your "pay" comes from someone else's taxes. So, in effect, you are only paying back what you took.
Great catch.
I like him.
Damn.
Excellent command of the facts & an excellent delivery.
Now, I may not agree with 100% of his political beliefs, but I gotta respect this man.
The teacher did have a legitimate point about teachers buying school supplies, though. Many (most?) teachers lay out around $500 per year from their own pocket to buy materials for their classrooms. I wish Christie had answered that portion, since it was valid.
May be one of a few politicians that get’s it. The Teachers Union cravenly worked to defund NJ education in an effort to make Christie look bad. The situation is more than a little bizarre. A President Christie may be able to rollback some of Barry’s ill conceived expensive boondoggles.
Those “teachers” (indoctrinators, is more accurate) sure are an altruistic and noble bunch, aren’t they?
While their neighbors (WHO PAY THEIR EFFING SALARIES, HEALTH CARE, AND PENSIONS) are losing their jobs, having their pay-rate cut, having their hours cut, having the cost of their essentials rise, the teachers show up with a nasty sneer on their faces demanding...
“MO’ MONEY!!!”
Yes.
