I suspect we can become friends... and as a result of our conversation on this thread, I am gaining respect for you in spite of first impressions.

My blog isn’t just a blog ...it is a home for a tight knit community of long associated like-minded friends.

Thus, I am an ancillary member of several online communities including America c2c- Coast 2 Coast, and TeamSarah. I contribute to them sporadically and derive information from them both and have made acquaintances on both.

Likely, I will never be a fully participating member of Free Republic in view of what I have said above.

As for hostility, I take into account where (to the best of my ability) someone is coming from.

Take ‘n the know’ as an example. The context in which I take him is a 10% brainpower-fueled/90% testosterone-fueled inarticulate Neanderthal. Guys like him are a dime a dozen and don’t phase me in the least.
