Good luck getting that 98-hour work week past the teachers’ unions, Arne.

The teachers won't spend more time in the classroom. There would just be more of them. The ones who work the late shift will get time and a half like every union employee.
Starting to love this guy Arne yet?

Good luck getting that 98-hour work week past the teachers unions, Arne. The NEA adore Arne, and would love an expansion in the scope of State education. It would more than double their membership.

this would require several shifts of teachers and teachers to cover days off. The union will love this. It’ll double, maybe almost triple membership.
We’d also have to keep the cafeterias open requiring many more employees.
