How can I get into this coupon thing? I need a new house!Well, there was that news story last week about a kid in California who took a basically worthless cell phone and kept trading (via CraigsList) up and up and up until he ended up with a Porsche. I know that can be done because before the Web I used a local L.A. paper that specialized in just classifieds (can't remember the name but post if you know) back in the 80s to buy a Sony tape recorder for $5 which I traded for a portable ball Olivetti typewriter which I then traded for a round trip ticket from L.A. to Ft. Lauderdale.

Mass. Sen. Kerry Docks Family's New $7M Yacht In Rhode Island, Saving $500,000 In Taxes He should just have Terayza buy Rhode Island and be done with it.
To: PJ-Comix
Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family's new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island. . . . They call it "Shiftboating."
To: PJ-Comix
If the Isabel were kept at the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee's summer vacation home. . . . If the Terayza were kept at his vacation home, he'd find a way to be in Washington.

Kerry spokesman David Wade Wade in the water. . . .
To: PJ-Comix
Actually, he can afford it because he married into money. [A Kewpie Doll is being shipped to you via expensive yacht.]...bought only with coupons! :D![](http://images29.fotki.com/v320/photos/2/292835/1608389/Kewpiedollvi-vi.jpg)

Wade said Friday the boat is being kept at Newport Shipyard not to evade taxes, but "for long-term maintenance, upkeep and charter purposes." In other words, to evade taxes.

Why is everyone for social services until THEY have to pay them? If you are for them but go running when the bill comes, call yourself a right winger. How did you miss that gem? For those new to the game, if you think social services are the government's job then you can never call yourself a right winger. If the people insist that the government must get into providing social services then we ask is it too much trouble for those programs work and have some accountability. That's where we really get insensitive.

Waking up next to that he probably deserves a yacht...

if he berthed the boat. . . . Ouch!
To: PJ-Comix
Kerry would be liable for Massachusetts taxes if he berthed the boat in the Bay State. . . . Reporting for duties!
To: PJ-Comix
People living in WA state do this all the time. They buy car in Oregon which has no sales tax, and register in Oregon, but use it in WA state where they live. Just drive through any high density housing and you will see many cars with OR license plates. South Carolina used to have a similar problem with Georgia registrations. We rarely see Georgia plates as much as we used to. I was out of the country at the time so I have no idea what SC did to stop it.
My question for the DUmmie. How many of these people with Oregon plates are politicians representing Washington state? If they were they wouldn't be in office for long.

and their are desparate people that need . . . . . . lessons on how to spell "there" and "desperate."
To: PJ-Comix
He got caught and now is gonna pony up. John Kerry has your back . . . taxes.

Why is everyone for social services until THEY have to pay them? Dummie almost had a moment of understanding, but he didn't pursue this to its logical conclusion.
