Here is just a tiny representative handful of the countless huge stories the mainstream media conveniently ‘overlooked’ in 2009 and 2010. Are you prepared to claim that they represent only one percent of the major stories that erupt in about a year’s time? I am prepared to say that this representative sample of ‘ignored stories’ is just the tip of a gigantic political censorship iceberg.”

There were conflicting reports coming out of Loredo ‘authorities’...they should have all FLAT denied it.
That said, too much time has passed. If I lived within 50 miles of the place, I’d be there to find out. We should have had more confirmation from locals by now.

I do suspect that this story will turn out to have been fabricated. My debate with MindBender is beyond the strict facts (or lack of them) of this story -- but has more to do with his apparent belief that the media don't really pick and choose what they will relay to the American people.
