I like Herman Cain.
I’ll bet he even has a birth certificate!
Must be an inside joke?
Just wanted to introduce you to one of my favorites. Herman Cain.
Herman Cain - the only wealthy Christian entrepreneur who responded to my request for help building a Christian school for the poor in Chile.
The answer was a gentle “no”.
But he responded, a real gentleman.
All of which is anathema to inner city youth. On the other hand, I would suspect that a lot of people are experiencing race fatigue, and the only way to avoid the muck, is to steer clear of the pond.
He seems to be a decent person, but I'm not so sure that this is a wise move. Just my humble opinion for now...
From what I know of him, I consider him a great man, but I didn’t know about his membership on the board of the Federal Reserve in KC if that’s true. That disturbs me and sets off my “wolf in sheep’s clothing” radar.
Herman Cain Statement of Faith
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
~Exodus 15:2 (NKJV)
“When my father left his familys small farm at the age of 18 with just the clothes on his back, he had his belief in God, his belief in himself and his belief in the United States of America. With these beliefs he achieved all of his dreams in life.
“Using those same beliefs, I have been able to achieve many blessings in life with the strength, which comes from God. My family and friends, my church, my success and the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the world are all blessings from God.
“There is more to life than getting more. This is why my song unto Him is to use all my talents to serve my fellow man, and make a difference in the future of our Nation.
“In God we trust expressed the faith of our Founding Fathers. In God I trust is my faith.”
In 1994, Cain became active in politics. He campaigned around the country against President Clintons health plan, contending that small businesses would be hurt by it. Cain served as a member of the Economic Growth and Tax Reform Commission established by Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole. According to an Associated Press report in The New York Times, Cain promised that his industry would give welfare recipients jobs, training and a chance to gain economic success. Because of his far- reaching views, Cain has served on numerous boards, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Creighton University of Omaha, Nabisco, Inc., SuperValu, Inc., UtiliCorp United, Inc., and Whirlpool Corporation. He continues to serve on the Joe Edmonson Youth Outreach Program for troubled teens in Omaha. In 1996, Cain recorded his first compact disc, Sunday Morning, a collection of gospel hymns which will in part benefit the outreach program.
Cain has not only received five honorary doctorate degrees, but he has been recognized by the Horatio Alger Society, an organization in Pennsylvania that honors those who rise from rags to riches by hard work, honesty, and religious principles. Cain has received awards for his humanitarian efforts; businessman of the year awards; special recognition awards; and excellence in leadership awards.
Cain has achieved such remarkable success because he genuinely enjoys life and its many challenges. As he told Wallace Terry in Parade, Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. And give God the glory.
Who said anything about policy screw-ups. But thank you for demonstrating my point.
You are most welcome.
Pretty dang good resume...who cares what color he is....well...except the racists on the other side, that is.
He’d definitely clarify issues and prove the racist charge to be what it is....what they’re really mean when they scream “racist” is “conservative”.
Still, a person - including a conservative - should not be “judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”, unlike Obama who, ever the Marxist opportunist, ran on the color his skin.
Thanks for posting this. He is very very impressive in person. He has opened many of the Hannity - Boortz Freedom Concert stage shows too.
Did I say I have already voted for him?
I became a very big fan after listening to him here on the radio and during the fairtax rally’s. He is the first person I actively supported and donated to...
Herman has a 3 hour talk show on WSB radio (Atlanta) each evening. Hadn’t even heard of him when I came to Georgia, but I’m a Herman Cain believer now.
