She is powerless, therefore she can't be a racist.

Other than the fact that she can decide whether a white farmer loses his farm or not, she is powerless.

I worked in St Louis for four years at a software/hardware design company. Most of my fellow workers were black.

We were discussing who used which mechanic in the area. Two of them said ‘johny was a lousy mechanic’. Another said yes, but she would rather give her business to him because he was a ‘brotha’. The other two gave her an ‘amen’. They could not conceive this as being racist,because they were black. These were educated people with tech degrees from good schools.

It's my opinion, based on my observations, this is normal behavior among blacks in the US.
