I don’t know whose fault it is, but one point cannot be refuted, the solution is that someone needs to take more money from those who work and pay taxes to those who do not work, do not pay taxes, but receive “social entitlements” (you know, because they are ENTITLED to those handouts).
Starting to happen on the NE side of Indianapolis too. As my sister who is a guidance counselor said, “It was only a matter of time until the gang bangers I deal with everyday at school figured out the money was in the affluent white neighborhoods not the hood.” This was the real result of bussing. It didn’t show the inner city Black kids there was a better life to aspire to, it just showed them where there were more fruitful opportunities to be had.

A sad thing. My family lived in Schuamburg from ‘72 to ‘83 and I was back there from 2003 to 2009. Never thought I would see that in Schuamburg.

Law enforcement no longer even pretends it’s going to protect the law abiding citizens. If the citizens fight back, it will be they that go to jail, not the criminals. We really need a strong leader.

I agree. The government will arrest and prosecute. The mere fact of prosecution will bankrupt most middle class families. Even if aquitted the individual has been punished.

I guess the gangs got discouraged by the city’s relentless attempts to make their guns illegal, so they moved to the suburbs. Yeah, I bet that’s it.
Agreed. Just stay away from certain groups as long as possible. In North Los Angeles County the Federal Government started to bring in minorities about 1995. They even came in from as far as Mississippi. A once nice area has become a zoo!

As I stated in a post a few days ago, when the Chicago Housing Authority demolished the high rise monkey cages they spread the crap all over the area.
