Sometimes I think the New York Times would root for Gonorrhea over the U.S.

New York Times roots for Ghana over US in World Cup That's OK; I root for almost anyone over the New York Times.

Yet the other teams from the [African] continent seemed to have been weighed down by anticipation of success. Or maybe they were just beaten by better teams.

That’s nothing compared to many people in the Slimes, and other useful idiots, subtly rooting for the “insurgents” in Iraq against the “imperialist invaders” for 8 years.

“The U.S. is Gha-na win!!”
Translation: The U.S. is gonna win!!
Heehee...

Ghana is diseased, corrupt, poor, insane, black, and disfunctional. Of course the Slimes is rooting for it.
It should be called OGhama.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

OK
I read it.
Nothing in your fake headline is true.
But good story anyway, thanks I guess.

I'd root for gonorrhea over the NY Slimes. Come to think of it, they may be one and the same team.

Y'know, it's sad because back in the day, say fifty years ago, Ghana was a fairly progressive(in the positive sense of the word) democratically oriented state. I don't know quite what the democrats did to them, but it was a crime.
To: Ge0ffrey
Ghana eliminated the U.S. before in World Cup soccer, and they could do it again. Most Americans in the U.S. don’t really care for adult men’s soccer, so why should the U.S. deserve to advance, when there continues to be so much American apathy for the game?

To: Ge0ffrey
Imagine if everyone that posted an article on FR did it in the fashion you just did using a made up headline rather than the one at the source, never mind the fact that it in no way reflects the content of the article.
To: Ge0ffrey
You did not use the actual headline.
