If he was a Republican, an apology wouldn't be enough, but he's a Democrat, different story...This statement was posted on the Congressman's website today...

I wonder if he has held any townhall meetings and acted this way?
Perhaps he is like another Dem, not caring what the people think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnsIIVhDY1s
I hope his opponent makes some hay with this.
Who says this is enough? I don’t. Time to send him packing.
He needs to be kicked out of office...YOU DO NOT punch a minor like that...
Where are you, you wonderful Libs....You are silent on the oil spill, you are silent on Tennessee and now you are silent on assault!
Hey—the guy said he was sorry-—that should be enough for us all to move on now/sarc
Assault and battery can not be brushed aside with a simple apology. (Unless you are of the master class.)
Press charges. He appeared to be drunk to me.
Charges are definitely in order..His aggression was stunning.
I called a few minutes ago to his Washington office. I suggested he either resign or not drink during the day. The lady answering the phone said that he had not been drinking. I said you don’t know because you weren’t there.
I told her someone acting like he did should not be in Congress making important decisions for the USA, so he should resign. She said she would give him the message.
We got you on tape assaulting someone.
We will see you in court. :)
If you have another minute to call the congressman’s office, would you ask the question that was never answered: “Do you believe in the Obama agenda?”
It kinda got lost in the assault and battery part of the whole affair and inquiring minds want to know.
Clearly, this is Nancy Pelosi’s fault. Rep Etheridge was returning from a Pelosi fundraiser, and was obviously whipped into an uncontrollable frenzy against his will by her incendiary hate speech...
