Democrats are getting a bit cranky about the public perception of them as somehow connected to Barack Obama. A group of students, clearly hell bent on inciting violence, had the audacity to ask North Carolina Democrat Congressman Bob Etheridge whether he supported the “Obama Agenda”.
What else could the poor congressman do when confronted with that kind of hate speech? Of course he assaulted the impertinent student. Etheridge blocked the camera away, grabbed the kid by the collar and demanded to know who he was.
It’s about time Democrats learned to stand up for themselves when being accused of anything so heinous as supporting the Obama Agenda.

A sitting Congressman–a presumed living extension of James Madison and other founding fathers–was asked on a public street whether he supported the President’s agenda. His response was to hit away a video camera and assault a student. The age of Pericles this ain’t.
