Maybe this article is correct and oil will rupture through crevices in the sea floor.
But I see from a BP video, the relief well is meant to intersect the well at around 18,500 feet down, I assume that is below all the damaged equipment and piping above. It would seem this article’s scenario depends on the subsurface fracturing all the way down to the oil reservoir.
The head of the BP team says they have drilled 40 relief wells and every one worked.
This is not going to be a bad summer for the whole Gulf region, it may just be horrible at best!

Anybody else had it up to their eyeballs yet with the “dead mackerels and seaweed” theory of where all that oil is coming from?
This is abiotic oil coming from the mantle and there is far more there than what’s in the mideast.
But we might not be able to control/contain it.
nuke it from orbit, just to be sure...
