Of course it detracts. Why did the CA GOP just shoot down Orly Taitz three to one. She and the birthers are viewed as fringe. You can make a tight legal argument on the NBC issue without ever having to make a claim that 40 some years ago someone planted a birth announcement in the Honolulu paper.

But you can’t stop the corruption at the HDOH, the Hawaii State Library, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and the Honolulu Advertiser until you expose that they’ve pulled a number on all of us - and broken laws to do so - just to trick people who actually thought that government, media, and law enforcement still might have some integrity.

This is a wake-up call. They don’t. “Birthers” have been mocked because they didn’t swallow from the politicians and media the oldest line in the book: “Just trust me...”

Very soon it will come out that the people we’ve been told we’re supposed to trust have been screwing us and laughing at every “idiot” they played for a fool.

I hope every person who gave the HDOH and the media the benefit of the doubt on the announcements will rise up in just anger at the abuse of their trust, and sink the people who have done this. They know who they are, and soon America will know who they are.

Ah, dragging in Orly, are we?

And a fake claim that no one says except trollies.

You stink of hireling troll. Do you work under Cass? Do you have a cubicle or do you work at home?

Even 49 years ago US citizenship was viewed as an extremely useful thing to have in life. Zer0’s grandmother Dunham showed herself over the years to have been something of an operator in HI. If her daughter’s child had, in fact, been born outside the borders of the US, she could have done her part to make his future life easier by: #1 placing the birth announcement in the paper and #2 filing his birth with the State, something which close relatives were permitted to do in HI in the loosy-goosy ‘50’s and ‘60’s as a way of getting population figures pumped up as high as possible.

You’ll notice that the COLB mentions that the birth was FILED by a certain employee. It does not use the term REGISTERED. That could be because of a lack of a long-form certificate.

Using the GOP establishment as authority around here is not going to be very persuasive.
