My first reaction to this was that I finally agreed with El Presidente on something. However the more i think about it, the more I began to remember why I dislike this President so much.
I understand he loves sports, I do too, sports are an amazing thing. However, there is a certain class and dignity that the office of POTUS holds and discussing the BCS, playing Golf constantly, and talking about MLB Umpire rulings should be kept to one self when theyre in a position with such power. Is it fair? Absolutely not. But we didnt force him to be President, he chose it.
Finally, why is Matt Lauer even talking to him about this? There are enough major problems going on right now. They could find PLENTY to discuss other than the BP Oil Spill and the economy. Excellent journalism Mr. Lauer.
PS This is the same President who lied about his favorite baseball team growing up.

Hey Matt, how about 2 cases of Pay-to-Play, errr Pay-NOT-To-Play eminating from the White House.
Obama doesn’t really love sports. He likes playing golf and basketball but he doesn’t pay any attention to professional sports at all. He pretended to be a White Sox fan, but when questioned, he couldn’t even name one White Sox player.
