If a child cannot draw an American flag in school without it being labeled as offensive, do we still live in the USA? Or is it now the USSA?
I believe all kids could have the potential to be collegiate in their early teens. The problems come into play with social dynamics, groupthink, and psychosocial development where kids think they have to think like or live up to (or down to) a certain standard to “fit in.”
I want my kids learning everything at their own pace, and if they wind up in college before they can drive, that would make me a proud papa!
In this respect it is the opposite of the USSR. The USSR forced people to be Russians. The US forcing people to NOT be Americans.
Like I said on FR on the morning of 11/4/08 - all things changed, nothing is to be the same.

I guess what I’m saying is, pull the kids, educate them ourselves but still work to improve the schools.
That is lacking in Homeschooling parents. The drive to improve the schools. And it’s just like any other place. The more talented, conservative kids are being pulled so the natural progression is that they will slip more and more. Like it or not, those kids in PS will be the ones feeding me my strained peas and wiping my butt when I’m an oldster. AND starting IVs AND doing heart surgery etc. I want them educated but I’m not sacrificing the education of my own for it.
Great post! And YES, I think it is CRAZY how the minorities are not the TYRANTS in our country-in our schools, in our congress and mainstream press and on and on.

The list of goals as posted sounds like something Dr. Evil would say. Those who post this (over and over and over again) never list an actual CP document which listed these goals. As you point out, the fact that it was posted in the Congressional Record means absolutely nothing.
Are you saying that this list (written in Dr. Evil jargon) was actually a verbatum transcription of the 42nd or 43rd Congress? If not, what are you saying? Please give me a cite on where we can find the A copy of ORIGINAL CP Party Congress document.

I doubt that’s the school you linked to. It’s an elementary school and she’s 13 so she’s either in eighth grade or a freshman in HS.
If we continue down the path we're on, homeschooling won't be allowed. It will be too big a threat to the regime.
