To me McCain was just as bad then as now. Doesnt make sense to say Palin could have run as his vp, and then once elected she could have opposed everything he stands for.
Endorsements are not the same as policy and I wont base my support for Palin on them. If her policies change I’ll drop her without a second look.
More importantly her endorsements dont diminish her status as someone who makes the right moral choices. This quality, combined with her intimate knowledge and experience in the oil industry, is the reason it makes sense, on a radio program where good ideas are usually presented in a context of satire and humor, to suggest Obama could consult her about the cleanup.
Something got you people all worked up and hysterical. Either Palin, or Limbaugh or what I said about socialism. Somethings not right here.
Bottom line to me is cultural marxism tastes like excrement and Im not drinking it.

Clearly, you understood nothing in my post #120.
And I’m honestly not surprised.

“Endorsements are not the same as policy and I wont base my support for Palin on them”
What Palin has don for McCain here in Arizona goes FAR beyond an “endorsement” She is actively campaigning for him with her radio ads. You can stare reality in the face, and choose to deny it all day long, but that doesn’t change it.
“More importantly her endorsements dont diminish her status as someone who makes the right moral choices.”
No, they don’t diminish her status, they DESTROY it.
Take your tainted candidate home with you, she smells.

“No, they dont diminish her status, they DESTROY it.”
So now you agree with the premise that morality is necessary in all this.
The necessity of knowing how to choose right over wrong wins this argument. Palin wins. Obama loses. You people lose with him.

I hesitate to call you a moron, only as a matter of form. Obama has nothing to do with any evil Palin has, or is currently engaged in. You Palin worshippers are so desperate to defend her, that you have taken to calling long time paleo conservatives leftist. Only a complete, and utter moron would do this, or someone who is a cultist, and has been thoroughly brainwashed. I honestly don’t know which category you fall into. Either one is shameful.

Get a clue Magoo, if you are going to insist on running up that morality flag, I got news for you: Sarah Palin ain't saluting because she is supporting the most corrupt Senator in Arizona history, enabling his re-election so he can screw Arizona, America and all things conservative because that is what he does best. Sarah Palin has become nothing more than McCain's sockpuppet because she is saying virtually anything his campaign wants her to say in order to somehow, someway, turn back the challenge of a REAL conservative Republican, and anyone with a room temperature IQ ought to be able to see that.
Sarah Palin supports John McCain.
REAL conservatives support J.D. Hayworth, as does our Founder, as does this website.
Sarah Palin supports Carly Fiorina.
REAL conservatives support Chuck DeVore, again as does our Founder, as does this website.
Sarah Palin has traded whatever sense of conservative morality she may have possessed for political expediency, and the proof is in who she is supporting, and what she is doing, and in so doing, she is enabling the continuation of 0bama's regime in that her support for RINOs and 'Rat enablers will make it easier for Comrade Zero to continue with his Communistic agenda for our Nation.
And Sarah is oblivious to it.

MkJessup, I don’t take any pleasure at all in saying this, but you are absolutely right. It’s sad really, but it’s the absolute truth.
Sarah has nobody else to blame for this. She did it all on her own.
Read my tagline. We’ve got a lot of folks around here who need a 2012 step program post haste.

Did you support Palin when she was on the presidential ticket with McCain? I guess your IQ helps you a lot.
I would vote for Hayworth and DeVore. I would vote for Palin because her policies are right.
I’ve never heard of “conservative morality.”
The argument is whether Palin is more knowledgable about oil than Obama and whether she has better morals than Obama.
Your position is that Obama’s morals are superior to Palin’s, and that morals shouldn’t be considered anyway.
What really got you going in this is when a Freeper dared to bring up morality in the first place.

Read my post #120 you dunce, as I suspected it went completely over your head, you still don't have a clue.
I would vote for Hayworth and DeVore. I would vote for Palin because her policies are right.
We don't KNOW what her policies are now because she has made common cause with John McCain and clearly stated for one and all to hear that she "shares John McCain's vision for America", and that is NOT a conservative agenda.
Ive never heard of conservative morality.
I'm not surprised.
The argument is whether Palin is more knowledgable about oil than Obama and whether she has better morals than Obama.
You dragged the topic of 'morality' into this thread, and the fact is, nearly ANYone to the right of Karl Marx has better morals than 0bama, that's a non-starter for you pal.
Your position is that Obamas morals are superior to Palins, and that morals shouldnt be considered anyway.
I said no such thing, so don't be lying, because liars go to Hell. I never said 0bama's "morals are superior to Palin's" and I defy you to find ANY post of mine on FR, past or present where I suggested that. What I said was that when it came to cleaning up a toxic oil spill, there was only ONE moral question to be asked and that was "Clean it up or not?" and the answer was and remains YES!
What really got you going in this is when a Freeper dared to bring up morality in the first place.
No, what got everything 'going' was your moral pontificating on something which had little if any practical relevance in this discussion. It began with a toxic oil spill, and as I've said already, the personal beliefs, political or religious, views on morality are all extraneous, the only critical question is whether or not to clean up the mess, and to get competent people on the site of that toxic spill to do the job right. That means professionals, not moralizers ranting about who has better morals while the damn oil continues to spread.
