LL Cool J tweets: Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW

Idiot.
I thought LL might have a little more sense than this. Disappointed in celebutards, as usual.
*lol*...he musta caught hell from his homies
She has a show? Thought she was looking for a reality show in Alaska?
Haven’t a clue about what LL is talking about but it sounds like no big deal. If I were him I’d be grateful to have his mug out there. He was popular once, but getting older and so forth has him as a grade C celebrity at this time IMO.
He performed some good stuff in the past though.
Who is this “LLCOOLJ” person you speak of? Guess I’ll have to head over to Wikipedia to find out! /sarc
Doofus. Palin’s going in the history books, LLCOOLJ, not so much, LOL!
Having a misunderstanding does not make a person an idiot.

“Contrary to what was reported, LL Cool J was never scheduled to be a guest on ‘Real American Stories’ with Sarah Palin this week,” Rhett Usry, the artist’s spokesman, said in a statement on Wednesday. “The show had planned to use an interview from 2008 that was being repurposed without LL’s permission.
“This statement is not a reflection of any feelings LL has toward Fox News or Ms. Palin, whom he has never met, rather a clarification of what we have seen published in the media.”
Fox News Channel did not respond to numerous calls and e-mails from The Associated Press inquiring about the status of the segment with LL Cool J, who was born James Todd Smith.

However, Fox’s snarky response to Cool J does rate as infantile:

But in a statement released to other media outlets, the network said: “’Real American Stories’ features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fits that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”

I thought the Cool interview was left on the cutting room floor......... Is it still scheduled to be included?
No, see post 6.
Hey, LL Cool Jerk. We’d rather SARAH spend the time talking about herself or issues.
But, obviously, Fox thinks YOU need a boost.
PERFECT!! Thank you, FOX.
His response was infantile, Fox’s was right on!
If he didn’t know what was going down, he should have been an adult about it and inquired. Children shoot off their mouth just for the sake of being heard, feeling ‘special’.
Why did Fox refuse to speak with AP? The producer sounds childish.
Infantile?? I rather liked it!!
Most people would be happy to be promoted in this way but I guess a third rate middle aged actor/ex rapper sees it differently than I do? I mean just because Sarah Palin made the Tonight Show have the highest ratings in a decade I guess no actor would appreciate being spotlighted with high ratings like that?
I didn’t notice that - i thought they just didn’t tell LL - not sure they have to, it could be their property.?
he’s a racist and acted stupidly, imo.
Snarky? I applaud Fox for cutting this punk out of the show.
"Chump don't want no help, chump don't get no help. Wiseass don't got no brains anyhow..."
To each their own. I see no reason for jumping on Cool J. His representative states the facts of what happened; the Fox producer got moralistic and unprofessional in his statement. They were going to use the Cool J interview without getting permission first. That is not professional either.
I don't see racism in this: This statement is not a reflection of any feelings LL has toward Fox News or Ms. Palin, whom he has never met, rather a clarification of what we have seen published in the media.
I do have an idea where racism is coming from in the discussion here, though.
