The Creative Coalition — the nonprofit arts advocacy group that brought top celebs such as Anne Hathaway and Josh Lucas to the conventions — is always reliable for a strong roster of talent during the dinner weekend. Expect to see Spike Lee, Cheryl Hines, Adrian Grenier, Steven Weber, CCH Pounder, Wendie Malick, Taraji P. Henson, Dana Delany and Tim Daly — and there’s more to come, we’re told. _______________
What do we think BHO is more excited for, this or health care? I would be willing to wager that he is way more excited to meet c-list celebrities, Adrian Grenier, CCH Pounder, and Steven Weber then he was at passing health care. Let’s face it, Obama loves meeting and being thought of as a celebrity. Half these people will wind up on dancing with the stars and not even be a footnote in history, but he can’t help himself. He wants to be part of the glitterati.
I bet Joey Biden is pumped too. I mean if he passing health care made him drop an f-bomb on a hot microphone, what is this going to do? I mean he might get to meet the guy from Entourage! I’m guaranteeing at least three awkward man hugs between him and Spike Lee, by the way.

The Republicans will never win if they don’t start educating their ‘spokespeople’ on TV. The Democrats have talking points - most of them lies - the uneducated Republican just sits there. They should be able to strike back with the truth.
Example: the Democrats say ObamaCare strengthens Medicare. The truth is, this is a big LIE. The CBO says that would be double-counting:
“To describe the full amount of HI trust fund savings as both improving the government’s ability to pay future Medicare benefits and financing new spending outside of Medicare would essentially double-count a large share of those savings and thus overstate the improvement in the government’s fiscal position.”

And I don’t recognize one of those “celebrities” so Bo can’t be that cool.
I recognize Cheryl Hines as Larry David’s wife on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” where she’s the textbook limousine liberal; Steven Weber as the goofy brother on “Wings”; CCH Pounder has been in a lot of stuff, most recently as Claudette Whims on “The Shield”; Dana Delany was the stage actress chick in “Tombstone”; Tim Daly was the other, more serious brother on “Wings.”
The rest—I have no clue.
Wow! “China Beach” was before my time. She also did some voice work on Paul Dini’s “Batman” and “Superman” shows. She’s a very good actress. Hot, too, apparently.
