In a nutshell, the public school system. My son is a Junior in high school and by the Grace of God and his Old Man’s efforts, a Conservative. The public school system is trying very hard to breed manliness out of the boys, feminizing them, discouraging competition, obfuscating the concept of a representative republic in lieu of a democracy, and generally trying to brainwash our kids into believing that this is a filthy, rotten country that is the root of all evil in the world history.

You a good point. A population that actually has some strong values can carry a nation a long way. A good portion is this country is far from having any values at all.

What's wrong with this country? The socialism and tyrannical federal government. The lack of respect for people's rights. The inability of people to govern themselves.

How to fix it?

• end the welfare state
• get rid of fiat currency: the lifeblood of the beast; if they couldn't print money, they couldn't do half of what they do that is unconstitutional and anti-liberty
• abolish the IRS
• repeal unconstitutional laws
• shrink government all around
• stop being an empire
• repeal the 16th amendment
• repeal the 17th amendment
• repeal the 19th amendment; universal suffrage has hurt this country; property owners should be the voters
• abolish the public schools
• stigmatize, don't coddle, stupid behavior that hurts people and leads to people expecting others to pay for them
• probably the biggest thing that can bring the most positive change would be Christian revival
