Fatwa to follow, no doubt.
His first “error” is in acknowleging that Jews even have a right to exist.
And yes, it is long overlooked that Islamic imperialism “designates” muslim authority over a number of lands. There are still claims for Spain now and then.
What is the Islamic “history” for Indonesia? Did Mohammed fly on his horse over there?
Sure, espercially that he criticizes the hatred that Islamists use from Koran text, oh boy.
Save for later
Didn’t Native Americans say their God had given them the continent to live in? They also had a historical record of residency.
So, going by this author’s logic, then Native Americans “must have a historical right to own North America”. Right?
Hey, here’s an idea - instead of trying to remake the world as it was thousands of years ago, let’s leave the past in the past and deal with just the modern world, ‘kay?
I don’t whether or not the Jews have a historic right to Jerusalem but I do know that Jews have been fighting Arabs have been fighting Jews for 3,000 years. Who on this planet thinks that they are so omnipotent that they can “solve” the problems between Jews and Arabs?
I also know that Jews started a war to simply take land from Palestinians then declare themselves a “country”.
It never has made much sense to me about why people of the world and particularly in this country, would automatically support Israel or for that matter, support the Arab world on a political level.
It seems to me that the best option would be to be neutral other than the fact that Israel is supposedly the only “democracy” in the Middle East.
El Gran Salseron - If you read your history you will realize that there has been a continuous population of Jews in Jerusalem before, during, and after the muslim conquest of Judea. The Arabs conquered it around 700 AD and, 1300 years later, the Jews took it back. Granted the native population of Judean Jews were augmented by Jewish refugees from the ruins of the 3rd Reich, the hell named the Soviet Union, and the various muslim sh*thole countries that torment Jews.

On the other hand the area was named Palestine by the Roman Emperor Hadrian to piss off the Jews.
You seem to be using the same excuse that Arabs use. We were there first! No, WE were there first!
Like I said.....3,000 years of hatred and fighting. It’s not going to end anytime soon. This country or any other country on the planet is/are foolish to think that they can “solve” the issue. :-)
Not all Natives were nomadic hunter-gatherers.
The Huron and Iroquois had large permanent villages, fed largely by agriculture (beans, corn, squash), and many Western tribes had river-based permanent villages, reliably supplied by annual salmon runs.
The private-property argument is irrelevant; if the natives were offered ownership of North America now, they’d happily take it.
“...constructed on the site of an ancient Byzantine church, adjoining Solomon’s Temple, destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.”
I’m nitpicking, but it was the Second Temple that was destroyed by the Romans at that date. The Temple of Solomon was destroyed several centuries earlier; The Byzantine Empire didn’t arise until several centuries later.

* I dont know your religion but Judea-Christian is not what you posted here.
* You are wrong on a Biblical historic version as WELL AS ON GENERAL History, no one denies the fact that it’s the Jews who were there FIRST and no one disputes the fact that the Arabs IMMIGRATED to the area since the late 1800s.
* What on earth are you talking about “3,000 years”? with Arabs, shows the ignorance that you don’;t ANYTHING about the area, the dispute started only (about) 130 years.
* Nor is your tone Jews started the war” accurate, it was the Mufti al-Hussein who started the was in the 1920’s on the Jews to annihilate them before the occupation” excuse.
So, Do you simply hate Jews?
I don’t hate Jews and I do believe that Arabs are inherently evil. Just stating things as I see them. In my opinion it takes two to tango. :-)
I wasn’t posting as a Judeo-Christian but from a different angle. :-)
I don’t disagree with what you say. All that you have said is true but with many Arab nations whose populations, in total, far out-number the population of Israel, I don’t understand why the world and particularly this country, sides with Israel.
In addition, the Arab world has oil. Israel does not or at least has very little oil. The whole thing just makes no sense to me.
