It was never quite clear if he actually knew she was pregnant when he dumped her. However, it is pretty clear that he was a very absent father the first year (or even longer) of the child's life, which I think definitely goes in the "jerk" column.

Yeah...I was born and raised just outside the 'burgh, and consider myself more of a Steelers fan than a football fan.
