Want to stop O’health care from reconciliation passage? Call vunerable Congressional swing voters!

What became obvious from yesterday's Obama/Dem PR-stunt-gone-awry is that they underestimated the GOP's presentation of the more sane approach to controlling runaway costs of health care.

What has also become obvious is that after a weekend of a finger-in-the-wind waiting period, Obama and company will be embarking on a reconciliation "nuclear option" passage of unpopular legislation that will seal the fate of breaking the US bankroll.

Below is a list of swing voters that, as Morris puts it, may be induced to jump ship because they are facing re-election. Got some time on your hands? Pick up the phone....

But please do more. If you live in any of the states from which these swing Congressmen come, please call them. Let them know your opposition to health care changes. The phone for Congress is 202-224-3121. Here’s the list:

Vulnerable Democratic Congressmen Who Voted FOR Obamacare The First Time Around

These are the folks we need to pressure to switch their votes!

Call Alan Grayson’s office? After Obama was in Orlando campaigning for him?

Sometimes Dick Morris is totally unreal.

Now I understand why Bubba tried to strangle him!

Thank you so much for providing this information. I bookmarked it, immediately. It is a GOOD IDEA, especially for the FREEPERS who live in the respective states of these 'swing voters'.

Everyone, please call and speak your heart!

Does anyone really think calling Democrats will help? These people have already calculated they’re going to lose and lose BIG in November. They do not care. That’s why so many Democrats are dropping like flies out of their reelection campaigns. They don’t want the stigma of a “lost” election behind them, so they’re gonna quit BUT NOT UNTIL THEY PASS THIS HEALTH CARE BILL! They know full well there are enough RINOS to ever stop a rollback of anything they pass. And moreover, once they pass it Zerobama will VETO any attempts to gut it for the next 2.5 years. And our side won’t have the votes to override the veto.

The Democrats will all be on board to ram this through, and are prepared to suffer the electoral consequences. Since they have resigned themselves to that, no phone calls pleading for them to even save their own political careers is pointless. They’ve decided to Fall On The Sword of the Marxist destruction of Capitalism. They’re on a suicide mission, and once someone decides that there’s virtually no chance to talk them out of it.

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Take Action! Before it is too late!

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not
to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

Any Reconciliation Bill would do nothing since the original Senate version still has to pass the House-which is the REAL problem.

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.) http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/99xx/doc9925/12-18-HealthOptions.pdf

Congress plans to block Tricare fee increases

http://www.navytimes.com/news/2009/10/military_tricarefees_blocked_100709w/

By Rick Maze - Staff writer, Oct 7, 2009

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Snip

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.

“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.
