Folks and Friends at Free Republic
I just wanted to inform you that one of the computers I have at home has COMPUTER ASSOCIATES' SECURITY CENTER installed on it as part of the package I have with my recent Internet and cable service provider -- CABLEVISION.
This is the CA SECURITY CENTER VERSION 4.0.0.205
Now, everytime I try to access FR on this computer, it blocks me with the following reason :

I have to override it by entering an administrative password to temporarily allow the FR site to go through my browser.
Out of curiosity, I tried going to the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND site and lo and behold, the CA Parental Control software ALLOWED the site with no problems.
Just wanted you people to be aware of this double standard.

Well you pretended to come on here and make an objective post, well it wasn't objective after all, you came just to defend your friends with no facts of your own to back up their accusations against me. So basically you're joining the lynch mob on me, so I guess it's okay when you do it, but not okay when others do. GOTCHA!

I said my friends are good people. You didn’t like that. Trust me they don’t need me to defend them. They were doing very well without me. I see nothing creditable about a dishonest poster or a poster who won’t answer to posts they’ve made or a poster who can’t decide what race/color they are. Keep going.....this is getting good. This thread is not about name-calling, it's about the extent of how much profanity exists on FR, try reading some of it. I try to stick to the issue at hand on THIS thread and not run willy-nilly to previous threads all over FR that I've posted on the past.
If you and your fiends want to take me on, with issues you have with me on those other threads, under the framework of which those particular threads were posted, I'll be happy to oblige you, but on this thread, the subject is of FR being banned as a hate site and why, vs DU not being banned and why not. It's christian-momma who brought up the profanity issue, not I.

Sorry to hear about your tailbone, and you're right this thread is not really a big deal, in house sparring about the quality of FR and the amount of profanity on it is neither here nor there considering the bigger issues we face. But it can be helpful, just ask Little 'J'.
It's funny, the way I see it, I've been defending FR and am being attacked for it. Strange, very strange indeed. Well that's it for me, I've been going at it with you and your friends almost 8 hours now and I'm not even getting paid for this. Oi Vey!

FR will look like a hate site based on the kind of racism your posts display, not because for occasional profanity that is almost always deleted .
