The Federal Reserve—Deadly Hostility to the Constitution
Vijay Kumar for Congress Blog ^ | 24 February 2010 | Vijay Kumar

The Federal Reserve is unconstitutional and must be abolished, returning the powers it has usurped to the Legislative Branch where those powers irrevocably were granted by the People of the United States. ...Any argument that the Federal Reserve was created under the "necessary and proper" clause is absurd. The entire bleat of the Federal Reserve against being audited is to preserve its "independence" in monetary policy! That is a blatant admission that it is a law unto itself, a sovereign that has usurped control of, stolen, the entire wealth of this nation.

Henry Ford. Cars. Aircraft. Computers. Almost all commodity goods. Real, long term declining prices.

No one deserves steady, or rising prices. Innovation, skill, size, science, finance all drive efficiency, and saving dropping production costs downward. Which would open up the profit spread...if there was no competition.

Are you telling me that over the last hundred years, is there any good, or service that isn’t cheaper, isn’t better, that in real terms is made with less labor, less materials, less waste? I can not think of one.

So, the natural trend, outside of political intervention is declining prices for a fixed thing.

This was explained to me by the owner of a golf ball manufacture. Many of the variables of golf balls are fixed by the rules of golf. So in order to stay in business, you have to offer either the same product at ever lower prices, or innovate, or invest in plant and labor. Actually, everything.

Adjusted for inflation, the golf ball you buy today is vastly superior, rounder, longer lasting with better attributes.

I would say our incomes have increased faster than inflation. So that makes the devaluation of money, over time a good thing? Many people work fifty years, retire for another twenty years, then when they leave their life’s savings, it has been vastly eroded by, in my opinion, Federal Reserve/Central Bank caused devaluation of currency.

I don’t consider that steady money.
