i know this

the discussion was about beck saying the democratz and republicans are the same

he does say this - and says it often - it can't be denied - even becktardz admit that (and possibly agree with him)

i don't know if beck knows the difference between mccain and paul

i do know that beck does not openly support ron paul - if he does support ron paul, he hides it on his show

if i do or do not understand the difference between mccain and ron paul, it is not relevant to the post or the thread

i also know that beck was much, much, much more toned down on cnn - i wonder if he compromised his principles and gave in to any cnn demands while there

this i am not sure of - doesn't ron paul caucus with the republicans?

Beck does not want to be seen as a right wingnut..
and be discounted as a republican hack..

He is, of course, as is anyone with an once of savvy...
Most democrats do not know just being a democrat is a "dis"..
So the illusion is needed so democrats can "save face"..
In my opinion.. but you know I'm right..

You keep harping on Beck for saying both parties are the same.

Are you aware of how many millions of Conservatives have fled the Republican party with those very same feelings. The most far-right hard conservatives I know, the ones who would follow the Constitution the most closely, the ones who hate Obama the most of people I know, the ones who are hardcore Conservatives — they have fled the Republican party and now register as Independents or as “Decline to State”.

One hell of a lot of those people TELL ME that the parties are no different. Why else do you think they have left the Republican party? These are not libertarians but the most Conservative Republicans I’ve known. They think both parties are more or less the same, with the Democrats crashing us into the wall at 120 and the Republicans crashing us into the wall at 80.

You can stay steeped in dellusion, and of course no sane thiking person, of which Beck is only one, would equate all of the extreme liberal policies with the somewhat less extreme things Republicans support (not Conservatives, but blue blood Country Club Republicans).

When people say “both parties are the same”, they expect you to be intelligent enough to deciper the meaning as “both parties are similar, are for big government and trash the Constitution when it suits them, neither party is giving me back my tax money or my freedom”.

Nobody means both parties are clones of each other.
