State laws in New York, and other states, clearly state that security guards are liable and open to prosecution should they intervene.

The little racing vessel was dead in the water, as any experienced seaman can see. I’ve spent years at sea, you, how many hours open ocean?

Right.

“It must have been the Japs fault :)” If you play with
RACE CARDS, like at bay, then definitely it is those pesky “Japs”. :^}

That still reminds me of the Chinese pilot Wang Wey and his Q-5 Fantan flying into the P-3C Orion.
Probably the same type of move, cut across in front of the other guy and hope he blinks.

Oh, fair point. Here’s the data:

Norway: quota of less than a thousand Minke (varies by year): they are currently catching about 5/8 of quota.

Iceland: quota of less than a hundred Minke.

No other whale species are currently hunted by these two nations, as far as I can determine.

Everytime I visit the north of Norway, I order a tasty ‘bloody watson’.

Sorry, a vessel that is dead in the water doesn’t produce a motion wake.
See teh screen cap in post 62.

“State laws in New York, and other states, clearly state that security guards are liable and open to prosecution should they intervene.”

So I guess I shouldn’t either. Sorry. Nevermind. Let the thugs bash her head in, or even harpoon her and let her thrash around for an hour.

She probably has no feelings.

Re: post 62

That's an awful lot of powered-wake for a dead-in-the-water craft ...

What's that white wake coming out of the back of the Ady?

No, welcome to liberal utopia land, where the police are the only ones allowed to intervene.
Besides, light years difference between a young lady and a whale.

Like any good liberal, you throw up non-existant race cards.
